i seen people who likes tattoos and have them in different parts of their body. i'm not against it but i just want to know how many people like to have tattoos and what design they like to put and why? it is just very interesting to know about what people think about having a tattoo? some people find it nice and cool, they have tattoo that is symbols or pictures or design or names of somebody they love. if i ever get one i want it to be just small and in my back shoulder part. i seen couple of guys who has a lot of tattoos in their bodies, i think they like it so much that they have it all over their body or maybe they want to be like some movie stars that have tattoos. well, for me i can't just have one because real tattoos can't be erased unless it is henna. yes, i just tried henna tattoo and it looks cool, i picked a flower with butterfly design but it just lasted for a week. tell me your opinion about tattoos and if you like to have one.

that looks really nice. i'm sure your dad likes it very much. i like tattoo's also in parts where you can't see them at once. like back or neck or upper shoulder even in belly. well, goodluck to you.

I really like tattoos. In fact, I have two. I have a Scottish thistle on back, just above my hip and I also have a Chinese symbol for friend on my back by my shoulder. Both are done in black ink. I would love to get more, but to be honest, they hurt a lot! I nearly fainted during my first. I really like it when people have tattoos covering their bodies. I think it's a great form of artwork and of self expression. I am working my way up to my third and for that I want a really big one. It will likely take a few sittings because I'm very wimpy, but it will be worth it.

yah, i know it hurts to get a tattoo thats another reason why i didn't have one. i only tried henna tattoo cause if you don't like it anymore you can just erase it at once. but you know what i would like to try a real tattoo only if it doesn't hurt.. :) yes, i agree that it is truly an artwork and a form of self expression. God Bless!

I have two tattoo's ! I got my first one last summer and it is on my left shoulder . It is just a little tattoo of a heart with wings with a banner in the middle that says mom . When I got the tattoo , I had wanted it much bigger and wanted it to say four lucky charms for my children but it was going to cost me a fortune so I had mom put in it as being a mom is the most important thing to me . I just had my second one a week ago for my birthday . My oldest daughter paid for it and I had my niece make it up for me . I have it on my right leg , down by my ankle and it is two dolphins jumping out of the water symbolizes my husband and I , as my husband is a fisherman , between the dolphins I have a four leaf clover that is made out of hearts with my children's names in each of the hearts . I have four flowers coming off the hearts of the four leaf clover which stand for the babies I lost when I miscarried as I suffered from four miscarriages . Then I have water all around the tattoo symbolizing my daughter that we took in last year , who is not my biological daughter but means just as much to me , she is the one who paid for the tattoo for me . I had her as the water and she is like a fish in the water and loves to swim and has always told me that if anything ever happened to her that she would like to be cremated and placed in the water with the fish ( which of course I could never do as it is illegal in our area to do this ) . My tattoo's have meaning to me and because my family and being a mom is so important to me this is why I chose the tattoo's that I did . The one I just had was made up for me by my niece . I told her what I wanted and she drew up the picture to me , which I will always remember when I look at the tattoo , as well . I would like to get one more and would like to have it done with my best friend . I would like us to get something that has meaning to both of us and something we both like to symbolize our friendship to each other . We are thinking something along the idea of angel wings or something like that . I believe after I get this one it will be my last one as I love tattoo's but they are quite expensive and I don't want to be covered in tattoo's . The one I just had done cost $125.00 and although it was a lot of money , it means so much to me as each of it has a special meaning to me and only a few other people know the full meaning behind it . It was designed by my niece and because dolphins , four leaf clovers and hearts all stand for luck and love , it shows my way of expressing what is important to me in my life . My daughter has a scorpion on her neck which is her sign then she has a play boy bunny on her left should and a skull with flames coming out of it on her back . She loves her tattoo's very much but I fear that when she is older she may regret the choices she made as they are permanent . When I was younger , I can see how these may have been tattoo's that I would have chose myself but now that I am older , would never want any of these . The playboy bunny and the scorpion are tattoo's she had put on before she came to live with us and she didn't realize what the playboy bunny stood for when she had it done . She thought it was just a cute little bunny . She says when she is older if she ever regrets her decision she will have them removed and have something made over top of them . For myself , I wanted something I knew would always have meaning to me and something I knew I would never regret doing . I believe their should be a stricter laws against younger individuals getting tattoo's placed on their body for the simple reason that I would never have allowed her to get one at the age she was and would never have allowed her to have a playboy bunny on her back . My fifteen year old really wants to have a tattoo and I have explained to her that she can have this done when she is older but that I don't believe she is old enough to have something done that she might regret later in her life , not to mention you are taking a risk of infection everytime you have this done .

When I was young, a soldier, and drunk, I thought about getting a tattoo, but it occured to me that for some reason I might, someday, want to change my identity. Tattoos are too easy to get and too hard to get rid of.

I'm really not that fond of tattoos because i've always liked my skin the way it is and some people told me once that If you get a tattoo you can never donate blood..Well I don't know if this is true but I guess I wont be missing out on anything If I don't get one.heheheh!

hmm tatoos..I know I dont want a tatoo, not like something that hasnt a meaning. Some people has tatoos like a honor to their mothers, grandmother etc. I think thats cool. But what scares me is that if u get one, who will tell u that u still like it after years?!?! I like henna though, coz i know it will go off in a week or 2. I not a dare devil in things like that..im keeping it on that!

if you like tattoo but you don't like it stay forever in your skin, you can ask for a temporary tatto to have the experience. as my self, i like tattos but in somebody else skin. It is useless to have a real tattoos because i can't see it vertical, like other people see it in vertical. i don't like to see a bacward rose or a butterflies.I admiring tatto for the drawing.but i don't like it when they put it on my skin. lol

i have one tattoo one my upper wrist of a smily face. i have always loved smily faces. this summer i am getting a yellow rose on top of my foot. my mom had one on her wrist and after she passed my cusion and i said we where going to go get the same one on our foot. so that is what i am doing. i also plain to get one on the back of my neck of a smily face with wings and a hallow. like i said i have always liked the smily faces and after my mom passed i started collecting angels on her b-day and holidays i get an angel to add to my collection so i figured a smiley angel would be perfect. i also want 3 little sets of foot prints up my leg with each of my kids names.

I think that some people go way overboard with tattoos. I have one. It is on my lower back and it is a small butterfly. I put it in a place that it doesn't show, unless I decide to wear something where it does show.

hi, i also like tattooes but i don't have any. i love seeing them in other people though. i admire tattoo artist skills in creating such graphic designs. they're just amazing especiually those being featured in the shows - l.a. ink. since i'm not really thinking about getting a permanent tattoo with me, im just contented with henna tattooes. i usually get them on the back of my right shoulder. next time i think i'd get something cool, trival design on my lower back.

I never wanted a tattoo because they were permanent. And what would happen ten years later when youdid not like it anymore? Then what? But when I was 15 a friend of mine was getting his fixed and I went with him and the tattoo guy offered to give me one for free. SO I decided on the spot to get one. I like it enough. It is on my ankle and it is really cute. I did find it to be addicting after that. Always wanting toget another one.Trying to decide when and where and what I wanted. I could totally understand why so many people have so many tattoos. BUt I can honestly I do not like the kind of body art where tattoos make up most of your skin. It is a sensory overload for me.

I have a dream to have tattoo of rose or butterfly. i think it's so cool...tatto in some parts is an artistic thing. It's beautiful. I prefer to have it on shoulder or back. for some people, tattoo is just style. for example, for a man. he has a big body, tall, and strong. he has tattoos on is body, of course it makes people grin or think negatively bout him. tattoos can make his image worse. but i tend to be agree on tattoo, cuz it's art and beautiful.

I personally do not have any tattoos and I think they are okay but not for me. The only thing I don't care much for is when a person goes overboard with the tattoos and they cover so much of their body. But it is for that person to decide what they like for their own body. If I was younger and did decide to get one it you be something small and the design would have to be thought out carefully because I would want to make sure it would be something I would want to have on my body for the rest of my life.

i like tattoo's but i also agree that too many is over the top. but that i just my opinion and what ever people feel comfortable with and what makes them feel themselves. i have one of a bull on my shoulder blade and have a few more planned. the ones i have planned will al be able to be covered by a short sleeved t shirt. I dont get my tattoo's to show to the world i get them for me and if i want to show them i will if not i want to be able to keep them hidden

I think if people want to get tattoos, then it is their choice. As long as you are aware it will be with you a long time (it can be removed, but it is expensive and lengthly). They are a form of art. It can be overdone though. One or two is ok. I consider getting one myself.
