Hello friends. Sorry I haven't been around too much lately. I have become very busy with my new job. I've been trying to get used to working from home and balancing my time. I'll normally try to spend a couple of hours working while my daughter is taking a nap. Since it feels like I'm on the computer quite a bit now I try to stay away from the computer while she's awake. I don't want to neglect her and become a workaholic. So needless to say I haven't had too much time for MyLot here lately. But I've decided to take a few minutes today and try to catch up on things here and let my friends know I do still exsist.

Hi! I just found the pending friend request that you placed 3 weeks ago! I am so very sorry that it took me so long to see it! I tend to be on myLot a lot less now that school is back in session. (I teach college nursing) When I do long in, I go quickly to 'hot discussions' and try to answer a few! Anyway, I just added you as a friend! Your daughter (I assume that is your daughter in your avatar) is GORGEOUS!!!

So the job is going good? I thought you must be busy with your job, or at least I was hoping that was all it was. :)
It is always hard to find time to balance everything. I know that there are times when I feel like I need to sleep the whole time my son is sleeping, so I don't spend much time on here either! lol Usually he sleeps about 10 hours at night, though, so I try to take advantage of a few of those hours every night to do mylot if I don't have anything that I HAVE to do. :)

The job is going very well. I have been working one event a week. That has been nice to get out and interact with other adults without a toddler tugging on my leg lol. But it also makes me appreciate coming home to my family. I've also been able to do a ton of work from home doing data entry so that has been easy.
I wish my daughter slept 10 hours at night! Here lately she has been fighting sleep so that has taken some time as well. Another fun little phase she's going through. : P

Just make sure that you are planning some time for yourself in your day. That is very important. I think a lot of Americans have forgotten what it is like to not work or be busy all the time!

Oh I definitely make sure to make time for myself. I know in the past I have been awful about forgetting about myself and putting everyone elses needs first. The cool thing about my new job is that the ladies I work with are all moms too and very understanding. We all work at our own pace and help each other out. I love it!

Well, I am really happy to hear that you are doing well! We missed you here on My Lot. I was just so used to seeing your cute little avatar picture at all my discussions and when you stopped dropping by, I got worried. Course, I know you mentioned that you had a job you were going to be doing. So, I hope that is working out for you. Whatever you do, I'm sure you'll do well at it. Nice to see you at the chats again. yes ofcourse give time to your daughter and take care of her, spending time with kids is the most essential for us so don't worry. We will still be here and wait for you whenever you get time and comfort, then come back. We wont forget you dear friend, we know you are there

Hi cynddvs! Family comes first, I admire you for that. I guess, if I have kids I wouldn't be spending so much infront of the computer too. I will always be busy following them around to the point that they will scare me away. LOL! Take care and have a nice day!
