You should call your state's Attorney General's office and find out what the warranty and lemon laws are in your state. Even used cars have a specific warranty period and the "deal" they gave you on a warranty may not be up to the standards of what they are obligated to by law. Know your rights, and if you find they are in violation, file a complaint with the Attorney General's office, call your local TV station and have them go with you to the dealership. Put these guys on the spot and they will soon change their tune.

I had a similar situation a few years ago. Bought a car, three days later the transmission went. I unfortunately had no warranty and my state has no lemon law. I went to the dealership and tried to have a conversation with the guy that sold me the car, but I was pretty heated. I am generally very soft spoken so I'm sure it came as a complete surprise to the guy when I asked him if he preferred me to lay on my back or bend over the counter while he @#$%ed me. He replied instantly that either way worked for him. Later that night he called me at home and I apologized for getting so angry. He laughed about it and agreed to pay for half the repair even though he was under no obligation to do so. A few years later, I bought another car from the same guy and he remembered the incident so clearly he made sure I had a decent warranty before I left the dealership.

Hi Punlonnjack, the first thing I would do is file a report with the better business beureu(spelling?) and then file a report with your state atturny general. And then call him up and leet him know that you did so and maybe he'll find you another car. That happened to me and when the dealer found out that I started filing complaints he worked out a deal with me quickly. Those guys are in enough trouble that they dont need the law coming down on them and they usually respond quickly to possible legal action. All my best, Terry P.S. Go Seahwks!!
