DMX found mistreating animals AGAIN

One of DMX's homes has been searched and 12 pit bulls were found requiring immediate medical attention. This will be his second offense of animal cruelty (in 2002 he pleaded guilty to animal cruelty on 13 pit bulls). Now, you know the courts are not going to do enough to this guy. If it were up to yo, what would YOU do to him?

I'm a bit surprised because X is an animal lover and possessive about his dogs. I cannot say what to do about this, but he needs to handle this and make sure it don't happen again.

He *might* get away with that if this was his first offense. But this is the second time he has be caught with cruelty of animals. If he was a true animal lover, then it would not have happened once.

The article I first read wasn't clear about what was going on with the dogs & who was responsible for them at the time. It sounded (and there may have been updates since that I didn't read) but it sounded like the dogs were in the care of a trainer or handler not in DMX's care at the time. Obviously that would make a huge difference in what should happen.

Honestly, it does not matter. He had already been charged with animal cruelty once and he should have a severe penalty even if it is because he did not choose a good care giver. As a pet owner it is your responsibility to choose the right care giver and have care for your animals.

I have read about this from another My Lotter. It's sick. There should be huge penalties for this moron. If it were up to me, there would be large fine, say $10,000, plus, with it being a second offence, 6 months of jail.

People that are cruel to animals never change. It's in their nature and they need to be stopped. A little bit of jail time is not going to do the trick. They need to do some hard time.It won't change their midset, but it might prevent them from doing it again out of fear of going back to jail.

Honestly, I would suggest jail time. This is truly getting ridiculous. Of course, it's inhumane to treat the guy as he treated his animals, but it's still not fair to poor animals. I say that you make him spend time in jail and take classes at a local college about how to become a veterinarian, just so he learns that animals need care just as much as he, himself, does.

A good old fashioned flogging sounds in order, but of course "thats cruel!". Well if we really need to be creative, we can always put him in a kennel. Tight leash maybe? Shock collar?

That'd be great. Put him, Michael Vick and all of the other offenders in a kennel and treat them like they did their animals. I wish we could find a way to take them out of the spotlight forever. These guys should not be on the streets and they should not be allowed to be role models - ever. I know that the NAACP is going to back DMX and claim that the "hood" culture cause them to act that way just like they are doing with Vick (and saying he should be allowed back int he NFL). This is reality, not a silly song! People know right from wrong and should be punished for what they do.
