Examples: Ever help a homeless person? Ever give your last dollar to someone that was in need? Ever open your home up to family or friends that had no place to go? Ever go without eating, and give your meal to someone that was hungry?

yes i have to both of those things in fact. ive given my last dollar to a guy that was begging next to a small gas station/store. i went in paid for my gas and with the last dollar and change i gave to him, he was saying he needed money to buy milk. well in all honesty i didnt really think he was going to spend it on milk. but as i was pulling out of the parking lot..he was crossing the street, with a jug of milk!! i was surprised and felt very very good about having given him the money, even if i didnt believe in what he said. he proved me wrong and its one of those rare times when you are happy to be proven wrong lol!!ive also let a friend stay at my home. he was actually my boyfriends friend, and id only known him for about a month. nice guy. he was going thru a pretty rough divorce and had been sleeping in his truck. we didnt know that until i went to the taco bell that was up the street in the middle of the night. he was sleeping in his truck in the parking lot. i woke him up said follow me and took him home with me. he ended up staying for almost 2 months. which got a bit tedious at times of course. about 2 years after he moved out, when I was the one pretty much homeless sleeping in my car, i ran into him again. we talked i told him where i was "at" in life and he took me home with him. lol i ended up staying at his new place with his new wife (she was very nice and tolerant of me lol) for a couple weeks. he also helped me find a job. so in my personal opinion..karma does exist..it just isnt immediate and sometimes it seems like forever before it comes back around but eventually it does!

Yes, I have offered a place to stay to the homeless and offered food and small amounts of money to people in need. I am poor myself as far as money goes but I am lucky in that I have never gone hungry. Even when I was in a situation that some would call homeless...I did have a tent and I did have an income and it was a temporary situation.I was by far luckier than some. So yes, I give where I can. PS...just curious, how did you get an aviator up so quickly? I thought you had to have like alot of posts before you could do that? Your post stood out amongst the other newbies.

Hi Mspunky! I try to always help others who are in need. I am a strong believer of Karma I believe that people should always try to help others in need because there is nothing at all guaranteeing that you will not be in the same situation. Last week I was walking through a high class shopping area and there was homeless lady sitting on the ground shrivering with a blanket around her so many people just walked right past her holding their louis vittons and prada's closer to them as they were passing by her sticking the noses up looking down on the lady. I am not at all a Upper Class citizen I am a struggling single Parent of 2 I took the Women to Au ban pain ( the cheapest place in the neighborhood) she was a nice lady. She was from another state and had only been in this State for 3 weeks she moved with her Fiance to be closer to his family only to be locked out 2 weeks later because he decided he did not want to Marry her. She had no money was lost did not know her way around and could not get help because she had not established residency so she could not get assistance (if you are homeless how can you estacblish residency), and all the shelters were full. So the poor Lady was stuck I wish I could have helped her more but I was giving money I really didn't have when I took her to Au ban pain to get something to eat. It just saddens me that there were people who could effectively help this Women and no one stopped to help her prior to myself she had been homeless for 5 days. 5 days without any food a bath, no help 5 days sleeping on the street, 5 days lost I am outraged. The average person in that neighborhood DO NOT PAY TAXES, here I am a struggling tax paying single Mom of 2 who really couldn't afford to help this Women but I did. I wish the world was a better place.

i have lost trust on strangers. so many have already fooled me. i have become bitter but i guess, thats the lesson iv learned from those experiences. the only help i can is give spare change.

We've let friends move in before and give to goodwill frequently. I've never gone further than that though.

All the time. It's the only way to go about your life. I've always found that the more you open up the more room you have to receive new blessings.

There was a time that our place was devastated by a typhoon. One of our neighbors house was shattered by heavy winds and there's no other place they could go so we let them stay in our house for a few days as they fix their house. We have provided them foods and some clothing. It gives you a high spirit and nice feeling whenever you had helped others.
