Where would you go if you had a time machine?

Time machine - Wouldn't it be great to travel back and forth within time? To lands and places unknown or known at different places in time.

Imagine if H.G. Wells' fictitious machine actually existed! A machine that would help us escape from everyday life…to anywhere, anytime. Where would you go? At what place along the timeline? Would you travel back within your own lifetime, or travel even further back in time? Or would you like a glimpse of the future?

I will go to heaven. Along the time line any place that call as haecceity. I will never travel back as no good point for me to do so. And I hope that machine will be completely done as soon in short time, not as soon as possible. And how about you?

Heaven might be a bit ambitious as it's not on our earthly planes. I think I'd like to travel to the future - I wonder what it wuld be like. I'd hope man would have learnt to live side by side in harmony by then :)

I would probably use it to go back a few months and take some words back that I have said to somebody that I truely care about, I would go back to the exact same place where I said those words but instead of saying them and hurting somebodies feelings I would instead kiss her gently on the lips so that I couldn't say anything :)

I'd definately travel back in time, but not to change things. I'd love to go back to the good ole days when there were no car's or even electricity. Im a hands on gal who would prefer to ride horse and cart and grow my own vegies. I'd be in heaven with all the tree's and clean air.

I would go back to the '50's. I think it was a great time of morality and family time. Everything was family geared and ppl took care of their families. !!HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Yes, that would have been a good time in many ways. Much simpler times too.

Wow! This is so fun! lol. Hard, but fun. Do we only have one travel with this machine, or will we have it as long as we can take care of it?? Right now I'll just answer like we only get one travel ticket! :) I would probably want to go back to...midevil times! lol. I think it would be really cool to see how it really was back then. Like a "behind the scenes" look at Midevil times. I think that would be really cool! :)

Hmmm I suppose we can have a couple of different trips - but not too many - otherwise we could go anywhere we wanted in time and as many times as we want. Medieval times were interesting, weren't they!

Grandkids - Daves children in Broome
As far as I'm concerned I'd decline. It's difficult enough living in the present, but to go forward would be too daunting, and I couldn't keep up. On the other hand by going back I would miss too many of the good things that I enjoy today.

Ah, but with a time machine, you could go back and forth as often as you wish! Well, in theory you could. Thanks for your reply.

i am a huge history fanatic and there are times that i would have to live such as the first half of the 20th century and during the middle ages and i would have liked to have been older during the 1960's and gone to some of the protests etc.

i dunno if it's better to come back to the past and fix whatever i have to fix..but then that would mess up the future hehe.. or i could go to the future see what happens and if i dont like it i could change the present...but that might also mess up the future haha... it' z hard 2 decide...but either way i would want to be on a real time machine hehe

I think I would just travel back in time and see how the world is like. I am not interested in the future because I can imagine it's not going to be really pretty anyway. I want to go back to the 80s just to see how's the world is different from nowadays. It would be so much fun.

I would go back in time and change a lot of mistakes I've made. I would also be smarter and make better choices.

If the time machine exist, I would like to go back 200 ago. That is, I can discover the true history and maybe I can change the history into my own way. That's excting!

Sometimes, each wants to escape from this space, because sometimes it becomes increasingly suffocating, and anyone who can not resist me ... And I very often wish to escape, even for once, although I an age at which problems are multiplying every day, and they can not cope, I have my moments. A place where I escape I would be a place free of worries and problems, bad people and bad thoughts ... a quiet place in which to just be me, nobody else, no phone, no nothing that I can disturb the quiet time ... do not have a specific place where I want to escape. It is simply a place that I imagine myself ... alone, on a plain surrounded by flowers, floating among them and among their smell, and surrounded by small animals, birds, something divine, a magical place. .. ... to look at the sky, like clouds floating above me and how they change shape in what I imagined it, about it, this is where I could escape from everyday space that thrills me every day ...
