What happened to you when the first born came to your life ???

Twenty-seven years ago, I gave birth to my oldest son. It was the most joyous day of my life, and I will never forget that feeling of holding that tiny baby in my arms. For the first time, I felt so much love and such an awesome sense of God pour over me. I knew that He had entrusted me with this life, and my life was changed from that day forward.

I had a Caesarian section when I delivered my son, so I was asleep the whole time and did not see him as soon as he came out. I had a few moments with him at the recovery room a couple of hours after his birth. I had mixed feelings then. I was happy that the delivery was uncomplicated and that he is a beautiful and healthy boy. At the same time, I was overwhelmed that this child is mine. I quickly went back to sleep after those few minutes. I don't remember anything else about that night. But these days, there is no doubt in my mind, that he is the most beautiful boy in the world.
