Being lazy is my favourite past-time:-))

Well this week-end in England it is Public Holidays - no one is at work tomorrow:-))Of course lots of people take this opportunity to go away for the weekend, drive down to the coast, visit family etc - but this time my partner and I decided to stay at home and do precisely nothing!!! I did the weekly foodshop after work on Friday, so this whole weekend we will stay at home, laze around, read, sleep, drink the odd bottle of wine, surf the Net, maybe watch a video, play with the cats, sit in the sunshine in the garden - and I am telling you it is absolutely wonderful:-)) No crowds, no people, no traffic jams, no screaming kids, no noise, no phone, no - absolutely nothing!!!! So how about you? How do you like to spend your holiday times away from work? Are you lazy like us, or do you want to pack in as much as possible?

Sounds pretty wonderful to me. Yesterday i was unable to get online due to a problem with my server...I was pretty lost as you can imagine ..so, anyway, I decided to move my chores forward and got stuck in to it. I ended up causing my sciatica to flare up so I said to myself....ok that's it!!! I'm having the rest of the day off. It was then that I realised I haven't had a day off since I moved here 21 months ago!! And I ended up doing things anyway...it's practically impossible to have a day off when you live alone and have pets....there's always something that needs doing......lol.

wow i would love to be lazy and sit around, god i would enjoy that.when it comes to the holidays we go to my husbands family and visit my family, everyone wants to see the little babies,so it always turns out really nice, but its so much work.so unfornatly we have to pack in as much as we can,so everyone is happy, and ofcourse the babies enjoy all the special attention.but if it was up to me i rather have everyone come here and i just sit back and relax while they do what they want.

I think with three babies you're never going to get much time to yourself to relax! Just have to wait til they're grown up enough to look after you instead!!!

It depends on the time of year if it is 4th of July when it's hot and steamy with crowds everywhere...then we usually stay home and hide in the house or just hang at my sisters pool. This coming weekend is the last hurrah of the summer and most people head towards the shore for one last weekend of beach fun and sun...we usually head to the mountains of Vermont where it's nice but not as hot and visit with his family. I hoep you enjoyed your weekend of leisure... sounds nice to me!!!

Other then Christmas, Halloween and Thanksgiving we really don't do anything special for the holiday through the year. At Christmas and Thanksgiving I go to my Mom's for dinner (sometimes Hubby comes if he feels up to it) and Halloween I always take my niece and nephew around to trick and treat. Have a great day!! AT PEACE WITHIN

I hope you are enjoying your vacation. I love those types of weekends where you can turn of the phone and pile up on the couch watching movies or read te day away in a favorite comfy chair. I also love those weekends where you take advantage of having the day off to get that project done that youve been putting off. It feels so good to go back to work on Monday after spending the weekend putting a deck on the back of the house or painting and decorating a room. Enjoy your time off and relax! :)

Good for you Rosie, you deserve it when and if you need it ;) And I am kind of lazy too, but it is quickly boring for me, so in a free day I like to drive somewhere with my car that I am in love with, and take pictures around, and my partner enjoys this too with his camera.

Well it's nice that the two of you can do something together that you both enjoy! Must admit I don't get bored at home at all - as long as I have the Internet, and my cats to play with - I am fine! Thanks for responding.

It depends. Mostly I like to just hang around the house - these days. When I was younger I'd want to go visit friends out of town.

I am lazy and my boyfriend is lazy too:) We don't live together because we are a couple for 7 months only, but when we have past-time, we like to stay in my flat and relax. Sometimes we go somewhere, like to the cinema or to the museum, or we go to a walk. But not so often. We prefer beeing alone and stay lazy:)

I thought I'd be single forever. I've dated many boys, but non of them suits me with his behaviour, his look and whole personality. My present boyfriend is the best simply hehe. I really love him, it is deep relationship and it is going to be even deeper. Our laziness is good thing, because we know how important is to spend some time together just enjoying that moment. I think it is possible that we stay together for really long time, we just don't think about it now - we are to lazy hehe

I love being at home. It's my favorite thing to do. I'm usually either catching up on chores, or playing with critters. To me, that's more fun than any vacation. So, anytime, I'm at home, I'm at my happiest.

Well I love to travel too, and we usually have a couple of "proper" holidays a year - usually one week in May time and another week in October, but when it oomes to these long weekends and public holidays, then home and rest is best in my opinion. Thanks for responding.
