Awhile back a friend of mine started sending smileys with all her emails. The funniest and rudest one she ever sent was a smiley picking his nose. Gross! Yet, funny. I didn't even know that was possible! So, what's the funniest or rudest smiley that you've ever seen? Do you pass funny or rude smileys along to your friends or keep them to yourself? Do you post them on forums with your posts?

The smileys themselves weren't rude but the context in which the were sent were... I have to be careful explaining it so I don't give you mature content tags! A guy that I didn't know sent me an IM...thanks to my sn I get a lot of guys looking for discreet fun. So this message popped up on my screen stating his age, location and what he was looking for. Before I could tell him to get lost, he sent another one that used the drooling smiley, the surprised smiley (mouth in an O shape which could imply a "dirty act") and the smiley that is licking. There were words in between that I won't post here but I'm sure you can figure it out! I went off on him big time about how rude that was to "say" those kinds of things to someone he doesn't even know and was most certainly not interested in what he was looking for! I loved using smileys on another forum I used to post on and wish we had them here. Some things can't really be explained right in words and smileys could help eliminate some misunderstandings. LOL only covers so much. I would love to have blushing, rolls eyes, shrugs shoulders, slaps forehead and so many others here.

Oh my goodness! I had no idea someone would approach a woman like that online just cause of her screen name. I hope noone gets the wrong idea like that about me from my screen name. Maybe they will all think that I am a stuck up diva type woman whom they couldn't possibily afford to buy gifts for. Well, let them! Little do they know that I am a frazzled mommy with far too many bad hair days and a cranky three 1/2 year old hanging on my hip. Yes, she still does that. I hope you gave him an earful for being so rude. Of course you did! Well, good for you. Guys assume way too much about women when they have no right to do so.

Oh, absolutely. As crude as it is I really do get that alot. These guys see "foxy" and assume things. Most of them end up being polite and go away when I tell them I'm not interested and very few ever just come right out with it like that one did. Only once in awhile do I have to pull out the all caps I'm a happily committed mother of 8 (6 really with two almost step but 8 sounds better) not some w.... that you can talk to like that, along with a whole lot of other words that I don't usually say! I'm a mom just like you, sitting here with kids running around, a baby on my lap, sweats on, hair that MIGHT have gotten brushed...yesterday lol....I don't have time or the energy for discreet fun with my s/o let alone some stranger!

Hey, for a minute I thought I had typed that! LOL! Sounds just like me and my life. I have only the one kid and am still learning to manage. I have convinced myself by the time the third child arrives (many years from now) I will be a mom pro. I know that I am just deluding myself just in case nature ever has it's way with me again!
