I have beening working in this company 2 years, it is not that long compares to some one who works here for more than 20 year, but it is really not that short a time for me. I would think of resigning sometimes esp. when I deem I am not reaping what I am sowing there. And sometime, I would also think the job is too difficult for me to handle with. And I would get sick if I keep on working that hard... But after all, I decide to stay for a little big longer since I have spent 2 years' effort on it, it might be the time to gain someting more here. And my bosses do have given me quite some opportunities here, the point is am I doing good enough and am I capable enougt to be a leader/supervisor here? Come on, Andy!

Self realization is a greatest vehicle which takes us to great heights. Never ever believe what people say good or bad. It is better to assesss ourselves and take actions accordingly. When you start working, everything looks difficult in the beginning. As you get into the problems you will come to know WHERE IS THE PROBLEM, you might have solved it. Therefore one cannot work causing wear and tear to the body. One should work hard and as the days go by, one should learn to manage himself and manage others. That is the trade.

if you think you are capable of being someone in your job and you love what you do then you must stay and not be affected of what others might do or say, however it is only you who can gauge your capacity and strenght, so only you would know when to give up.

Yeah, that sounds good, Andy. Just stay positive and do what you got to do. Maybe by next year you might be a supervisor or something. Good luck anyway!!

You didn't say what is was that you do. Is it a job that you went to school for? Do you even like what you are doing? If not, what would you like to do as a job? It sound as though you are capable as your bosses have been giving you more and more opportunities. Many people work at jobs they don't enjoy because they NEED to work and have been unsuccessful in securing other employment. Is that the case with you? For me I don't dislike what I'm currently doing...I work as a receptionist at a hospital. It is not stressful, the only drawback is that it is only part time.

Hi Cecelia, Thanks for your concern. Here is more things about my job. Well, I am a Business Engineer in a PCB Grop, I am now taking care of the global EMS's for Philips Consumer Electronics. Well, general, it should be a job that I went to school for. I pretty like what I am doing but that's too much for me now. You know I am taking care of some 20 active customers all over the world, the business there days are pretty huge. I am handling with the quotations, engineering queries, delivery schedule, quality issues, order allocation in 2008 etc... Anyay, my bosses are giving me quite some opportunity here, and today I was informed that I'd be the team leader /1st lever supervisor from next week on!:) Nice to know that you like your current job and since it is not stressful and stil part time, are you going to find another part time job? Or when will you go full time? WBR, Andy

i really believe that a person can really excel in anything that he or she puts his/her heart into so whatever you think you may lack, i'm sure that you can compensate that with your determination to eventually hone that skill that you feel you may lack and i'm sure you would be able to overcome the difficulties you may come to face with. if you are really into this job then go for it.
