I am a coffee-lover. I cannot imagine myself starting a day without drinking my favorite beverage - hot coffee. For me,I believe that it stimulates my brain and it energizes my nerves. I consume between two to three cups of coffee in one day. What about you? How many cups of coffee do you consume in a day?

I honestly couldn't say how much I drink, but I make at least 3 pots of coffee per day of which I drink more than half (my husband drinks the rest). In between, I might stop and get an iced coffee after lunch. I like hot coffee for breakfast, afternoon and then at least one or two cups in the evening to help me stay alert just a little longer so I can mylot for a while.

Wow! You're a heavy coffee drinker! I'm a coffee-lover but I avoid drinking coffee after six in the evening because I'm sure I'll be having sleeping problems later. Thanks for sharing the volume. Just kidding.

Normally I will have my first cup of coffee while I’m having my breakfast in the morning. I prefer most is the hot coffee with sugar and creamer added. Coffee always keeps me in the most energetic and refreshed mood and this would further motivate and power me to work harder and more efficiently in the morning lol... I usually take another one or two cups of hot coffee during my four o’clock tea.

I drink 2-3 cups a day as well, but my cup holds 28 ounces or about half a pot. I am a huge coffee fiend and drink it all day. There's always a cup near my hand, at work or at home! I drink more than I should. To be fair, all of those horror stories they used to put about that caffeine would dehydrate you and that coffee was full of toxins turned out to be so much hooey. Coffee is mostly water, the caffeine keeps you alert, and the brew is full of antioxidents. I was right all along! LOL

LOL! Yes, you're correct! They used to say negative things about caffeine but now they give all praises to it. It was also proven that it has more antioxidants than tea. And you drink a lot of coffee, ha! Thanks for responding!

I am not myself until I have my first cup of coffee in the morning. I have one cup first thing in the morning and another cup in the late afternoon when I watch a favorite show, before I have to start cooking dinner.

Okay, so maybe I don't drink coffee that much but I do drink soda, so I will substitute it for this discussion. Quite simnply I love caffeine. My day cannot go on without it. I adore who it wakes me up and energizes me. I drink about three sodas a day just to get my fix. Every now and again I will run down to Starbucks to get coffee. (It has to be either a coffee drink of iced coffee. I live in Florida so hot coffee doesn't fly with me.)

I agree, soda and coffee both have caffeine which is the reason why it stimulates the brain and energizes our body. In fact, caffeine is the main ingredient of energy boosters. I'm just scared with the sugar that goes with soda unlike in coffee where one can control the amount of sugar. So, you do love coffee, too. Thanks for responding.
