My hubby sent me some pictures of where he is stationed and I can only post a couple that are indescriminate. I am not really allowed to say where he is at, military policy ya da ya da. So, go check out my pictures! I am so glad he sent them to me, at least I know he is ok and he looks good! He sent me some silly pictures I will post on here as well. He tries so hard to make me laugh even from half way around the world. I am living for little moments like these to get me through this deployment. I miss him something fierce! Well, check them out and let me know what you think!

He looks like a fun guy, I think where he is you would need a sense of humor to survive. I don't necessarily agree with the war but I support the troops and hope they make it home safe.

Hey there whywiki! He is a very fun guy. You really do need a good sense of humor to survive over there. I don't agree with this war either, but I really stand behind these guys because they don't want to be over there anymore than they want them over there, but it is their job. thanks for commenting!

That is cool your hubby send you pictures from over there. When my ex was in Iraq he used to send me all kinds of pictures of the buildings over there. The higher ups had such nice things, it is a shame they don't share their wealth.

Yeah, I am glad he can send me pictures and stuff. Your right, the higher ups do have such nice things and it is very sad that there are kids playing in garbage while they live the high life.

Thanks for sharing the pics of your hubby with us mamasan; he knows how much it will mean to you to get anything from him. He looks well. I don't agree with this war either, but these guys are giving their all, and we should let them know how grateful we are for that. It can't be easy for their partners; keep looking forward to the day when he is back home with you and your daughter, safe and sound. All the best to you and your family - and send our humble thanks to your hubby and all his mates over there.

I am so excited about those pictures! I hope your hubby doesn't get deployed if he is in the military. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Thanks for the prayers! Those guys could use them!

don't worry you'll get thru this and what ever else comes your way . we have a hard time dealing with the possiblity of someone dying then the actual reality of when someone does die. as long as we're still alive people are willing to take risks to save other people and tho it gives you a sense of accomplishement saving lives when you die you are able to save many lives more then you would ever save in a war none the less your hubby is a hero fighting for what he beleives in and not turning his back. i give credit to the both of you because neither one of you guys know the out come and yet you take each precious moment just as it as a precious moment.

Thanks for those words of encouragement. It is true that we do take each moment and treat it as it is just as precious as the last.

Me too! It is very difficult when our husbands and wives are off in foreign countries, but it's his job and I have to do the best I can to deal with it. Thank for the well wishes.

I am truly blessed. Sometimes it is so hard to live here without him. So, sometimes I don't feel so strong, but I thank you for your prayers and thoughts. Thanks!
