well, i just don't feel like parading my face on the internet :) i want to remain anonymous perhaps. anyways, it a person to person preference. but i think the main thing in mylot or the site that carry a name on discussion and forum like nature, your opinions or insights are count the most.

profile photo is really not important.
it's the discussions you start and the response you give to each and every topic that counts.

Every member had their own reason why they dont put their photos, when i joined here i dont have a picture here in my internet that's why i was not able to put one, one of my son said i should put picture of handsome or goodlooking celebrity so that i can attract more member who will ask to be my friends or responds to my discussions. I said that it is nor fair since its like your fooling someone when i do that, i just want to be honest, then i saw the present picture of hands holding each other and i put it there. Maybe i will put my picture if i got new one.

I was told when I first got a computer never to give too much away about your self on the internet, never let people really see who you are, it is a very small world with the internet and unfortunately there are a lot of weird people out there doing very weird thingswith even just pictures, there are people out there just taking photos even of babies and putting them on por sites but they do things to the photo then there is a chance a very small chance but it has happened that someone can get a fixation on a photo and by another small chance it could very well be someonethat lives near you, I believe this has happened to children, its sad but it is a very small funny world with a lot of very weird people doing very strange things, and anyway I feel you are more open to express your real feelings hiding behind an avatar.. but it is ok to use your photo, good on you....

yeah, there are alot of crazy people doing crazy things on the internet.
it's tragic how some people can also steal identities through the internet.
hiding behind an avatar can be a precautionary measure for safety.
