cigarette smoking on the decline in our city

10 years I, along with team of 7 people, conducted survey on cigarette smoking in our city. The survey result was 37% people were smoking out of 100 people. Only one percent of Ladies were smoking cigarette. When we conducted last week, we found that smoking of cigarette has come down to 17% out of 100 people. Out of 1000 ladies not even single lady said that they smoke. The decline in smoking might have been that people are now aware that smoking is injurious to health and prohibition in smoking in public places, bus, tram, etc., Do you consider in your city the smoking has come down as it is happening in my city.
