How long do you sleep every night normally?

The time you sleep every day is related to your work efficiency. Because of work I can only at night. Every time I can only sleep no more than 6 hours. This situation last two years and I have not feel any discomfortable. From education the sleep time is no less than 8 hours every day. But I think this discipline is not right. Do you think so? Can you tell us about your sleep situation?

I usually try to sleep about 7 or 8 hours a night. Since I have to get up at 6 a.m. during the week, this means I go to bed between 10 and 11 at night. On the weekends, I usually stay up later, and I try to sleep later, but I don't always succeed. Our bedroom doesn't have a curtain over the window (it just has mini-blinds), so the sunlight comes in and wakes me up!

Yes, I always want to stay in bed later, but I always was awaked by noise. Even if the environment is comfortable, but I always waked on time, maybe this is my habit.

I think everyone needs a different amount of sleep. I know some people who are great on about 6 hours of sleep a night, and others who need at least 9. I don't know why.

I tried to sleep at least 8 hours a day but unfortunately during my part-time degree course, I have to sleep less than 8 hours. Now that my degree course is over and I have plenty of time but I'm already used to sleep late. Perhaps as time goes by, I would be able to discipline myself to keep to 8 hours of sleep.

I usually sleep at an average of 6.5 hours. Somehow I think I need more sleep but when I hit the bed a little earlier than usual, I would usually just toss and turn and can't get my sleep no matter how much I want to. Because of this, I usually stick to my usual sleeping time of 11:30pm or 12:00.

I usually used two comfortably used pillows or one brand new pillow for height. I can't just lay flat on the bed and fall asleep. I've actually never met anyone who used a pillow for their feet before. If I am not feeling well than 3 one between my knee's and two under my head.. Most of the time though I will sleep with 2 pillows under my head or sometimes for some odd reason hug it and lay my head on it, i don't know maybe my head sometimes needs to be in a different angel so that i can rest better.

Depends on my day... if I am very exhausted, then I can easily sleep about 10 hours, until my body feels fine and ready to move on. I like sleeping, and I like having a relaxing sleep, because if I sleep bad, I am all day feeling sleepy... greetings!

i normally sleep 6 hrs. or less because i love to stay up late at night and play computer games on my computer. this is one of my addiction, playing command and conquer generals. i suggest you buy this game too because it is really addictive. if it was not for this game and for my computer with internet, i would probably be sleeping 8 hrs. or more at night. i don't really need that kind of sleep. if i sleep too much, and wake up the following morning, i would feel very lazy. i like to sleep less hours because i just want to. i have better things to do than sleeping like a bear in hibernation. lol.. don't mind me. sleeping is good just don't overdo it and don't be lazy.

Before, during my college years i slept from 9pm - 5am. That is 8 hours of good and sound sleep. When i started working, i usually go to bed around midnight and wake up at 5 or 6 the next morning. Even if i want to lie in bed for an extra hour, i have to push my self up and get a shower to catch time and not be late for work. Now that i stopped working temporarily, I do not sleep at night, but i do get a lot of time sleeping during the days. Most of the time my sleeping hours is more than what i need. I sleep all afternoon until early evening. I do not mind if i skip meals, i do not feel hungry anyways.

Well On the weekdays when I have work normally I would sleep for about 6 hours and that usally gets me through the day. I know that everyone should sleep for about 8 hours but 6 hours is good enough for me mainly because on the weekend I usally make up my sleep by sleeping for more then 10 hours a day if I dont have anything planned and it usally helps.

I'm the same. If I sleep more than 6 hours I will sleepy all day. I think the best sleep time for a human is 6 hours. 8 hours is too lot, nobody needs 8 hours to sleep. But it's my think.

I do best with 8 hours a night, but I can get by with 7 or even 6 as long as I get an interim nap.

Well i have normal sleep even if im working, I try to sleep 7 hours to 9 hours to recover from the stressful day that i had. It avoids being sleepy at work too if you have enough sleep and rest.

how i wish i can sleep more than 6 hours a day but as what they say the older you get the less sleep you get. no matter how late i go to bed i still wake up 5 a.m. i just try to compensate by taking a nap after lunch at least for an hour to recharge, some how it helps.
