I do. Sometimes, when I'm looking for something different to make. Or, when I want to try a dish that I've heard of and I have no clue how to make it. Do you have a favorite cooking website that you frequent or do you just do a random search?

one of my dearest friends is 73 years old and 1/2 hungarian 1/2 romanian ethnicity... she is such a wonderful cook. she uses all the hungarian names for the dishes and I can never recall them! some of my favorite things she makes are cabbage and noodles stuffed cabbage pieroshki ( or the hungarian equivalent) her turkey stuffing/dressing she makes something where she fries the flour first - sort of like a roux oh man this is good! and the sweets she makes for the holy days are out of this world, delicious. I will be looking at your recipes!

Yes. I don't have a favorite but I like the recipes on Yahoo. I usually don't go looking for a recipe on that site but if I pull up Yahoo for another reason on the home page they might highlight some recipes that look good and I will check it out and save it. I always same the recipes but I never get around to actually trying them.

I do look them up a lot. just to get an idea, usually - and then I take off in my own direction. I rarely follow a recipe to the T, except when making a baked confection. I usually just use www.allrecipes.com it is easy enough to navigate around

I don't often look up a recipe on-line as you should see my collection of cookbooks! My books fill two whole shelves of my kitchen cabinet...Then one day, I was curious and wanted to find a recipe for Red Velvet Cake...I'm going through just about all my books and couldn't believe I didn't have a recipe for it anywhere! So went to the computer and did a search, and found several recipes for it, and printed them out--isn't the Net great??

I also have a huge array of cook books. On my hutch in the dining room, in a dresser in my office and some in the various closets. Only when I get stuck do I grab any of them. I have a couple that I use for my christmass recipes and one for a Bread Pudding recipe. Other than those few recipes the books sit here forever till one gets opened. HAHAHA! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hello miamilady. Yes I do look a lot of recipes on the internet. I do a church newsletter and I usually put recipe in it. I do have several locations that I got ot find healthy vegertain recipes. I also do some health food searches such as the hazzards of sugar and MSG. I try to keep our church alerted to the better foods for getting natural Iron or proteins and vitamans. I have learned a lot of interesting things about the various foods we need to eat to keep healthy. Like flax seed for omega-3s. There are so many interesting food and recipe site that it's fun to just explore them.

I do too. I usually just do a random search. My mom wanted a recipe for sweet potato pie a few years ago so I just typed that in and there were several million recipes! The hard part is knowing where to start. Annie

I just happened to discover this wonderful site about a year ago, miami. It is called allrecipes.com. I signed up for a free account and the daily newsletter. Each day I get a new recipe delivered via e-mail. If I think I might want to try it, I file it; if I don't I delete it. They also give you onsite storage for recipes that you like.

I love to look up recipes online. I have found some great ones and I save them if they turn out good. I found a great one for American Chop Suey made with tomato soup. I make it often. Cooking Light has a nice website - I like the sites where people rate recipes - and only try 5 star ones.

I have one favorite website that I frequent, it's Allrecipes.com. It has some really good recipes and some of the recipes have reviews. I also like the food network website for recipes. There are so many recipes to choose from. Martha Stewart has some really tasty recipes too.

I'm on allrecipes too ;p Its pretty cool because you can make meal lists and ideas right off the bat, and also generate grocery lists based on them. I don't go too often, but I always check and suggest from time to time.

All the time. I'm trying to make my own recipe book now, just as a family keep sake. I have lots of family recipes and then a lot of new ones I find online.

I do look up recipes every once in a while, but I rarely follow them, even when I find one I like. lol I prefer to switch ingredients around and come up with something of my own. The only time I actually follow a recipe is when I am baking cookies or a cake or something like that. I don't really like baking, and I wouldn't trust something that I made up on my own! lol When I'm looking for a way to cook something, I usually just do a quick search. I don't have any specific websites I use. I just type in a few of the ingredients I might want to use, and see what comes up. Then I get an idea of what other ingredients I might or might not use.

The internet is a great place to find recipes. There are so many websites-and most of the large companies like Betty crocker and such have their own websites. One of the best ones I've found is Mrs. Dash's. There are lots of recipes and tips-all salt free too.

I'm on a certain site I already mentioned. Other than that, I have cookbooks or I learn through experimentation. I've had 15 years of experience backing me up too. But I hear what some of you guys are saying about Mylot and getting recipes/ideas from members. [Thanks :)] Its encouraging!
