What's the silliest exercise you've ever done?

During the 1990's I had one of Jane Fonda's older fitness tapes and it was so silly. She had me doing the tractor dance. "Now drive that tractor and whirl your arms from side to side!" Totally ridiculous! And, that wasn't the silliest move of all. There was even a chicken dance. I kept at it for an entire week, before I got tired of looking ridiculous and threw the tape away. But, that was just the beginning of silly exercises. I tried the Billy Blanks Tae Bo exercise DVD a couple years back and almost died when they went to super fast speed. My heart sped up so fast that I almost passed out. It is definitely not a plan for beginners. Maybe I will lose all the weight first through a nice, gentle walking program and then use his exercises to stay challenged and motivated. Walking is a good exercise for beginners, right? So, what is the silliest exercise program that you have ever done? Have you ever done an exercise move as silly as the "chicken dance"? Would you? What's the hardest exercise program that you have ever tried?

I just want you to know that reading this post gave me the best laugh I've had today. Thanks! As for silly exercises, I visited a new doctor about 8 months ago. I wanted help with my back problems, so he told me a sure fire way to help my back. When it hurts the most stand against the wall, and shuffle your feet. Just stand up, while rubbing your back on the wall, and shuffle your feet like an elderly person. First of all, that didn't work. Secondly, I don't think anyone treats me like I'm sane anymore. : )

Thats pretty funny. I've done some pretty rediculous ones but the worst/funniest was my freshman year of college. We were doing fall workouts like normal and our coach took us outside to do an ab workout. The last ab exercise involved us partnering up. We had to lay next to each other feet to head in the sit up position and put our left hand under our partner's knees and hold their hand with our right hand. Then at the same time, both people would use their abs to lift their feet and torso enough to change places with your partner. Its hard to explain so I hope you can get a mental image of what was going on. But basically we were holding hands and rubbing butts with each other doing this ab workout. Our strength and conditioning coach was laughing as he told us some silly name for the exercise that I can't remember. It was funny looking back on it though, and a great ab exercise. If you don't mind feeling weird doing it, it will really work you out.
