I for the most part do but sometimes I have an idea that I should follow through on and instead just let it ride. When I was younger I was scared to try some new things. But the older I got the less I cared if someone thought it was weird. My attitude now is I have nothing to lose. So as far as using my talents I do live up to my potential. Do you?

dear Jillhill, I think I never lived upto my potential because I did not have proper guidance in my younger age to adopt the right method so to say how to estabilish my future in proper manner. I am coming from a rich village where there was for survival and happiness is plenty. I never thought I should establish my future life with more confort because I had all the comfort in life when I was yonger. Due to heavy flood our 24 acres of land deposited with 8 feet sand. Overnight we become poor. When I came to city to work for earning I had no idea as to how to go for earning. I started my career as typist. While working in the day time, I studied in evening collages and obtained degree in Commerce and Law. In those days there were no computer. Inspite of having had the opportunity to learn technically something when computer started playing a important role, it did not occur to me, though I was working in a computer reseller organisation. Inspite of working in a computer reseller company I never used the opportunity to learn technicality of the computer. I always feel that I never used my potntial in full.

Wow. You have had a lifetime if learning. First how to take care of yourself and then to earn a living. You sound like a very intelligent person. And you are right. You have to be given the education it takes from your parents or others to learn how to take care of yourself!

I think I do for the most part because I try to follow my heart in all my endeavors. God has a plan for us, and as long as we try to do what is right we should feel complete I believe.

Oh the number of times my parents told me I wasn't living up to my full potential! It wasn't until my hubby convinced me that I was actually good at things that I started to live up to my potential. I think it took me until I was an adult to gain the confidence I needed.
