I want to thank everyone who gave me very good advise on who to get rid of my computer’s VD. I am a real chicken when it comes to trying to take care of the problem myself so I am taking it to the doctor today. I have to get the fan changed on the computer because it makes a lot of noise. I know this because I had this happen to a computer at work and changed the computer’s fan. I am afraid to down load to many more things and really make my baby really ill. So today when my driver gets here I am writing this on my laptop thank gaud for this baby. LOL

Lack of parental control I guess. I really do not know except I left it along and came back and it had a virus in it.

It's always great to have a back up. My husband and I both have a back up computer. I'd go nuts if I didn't have my computer for a couple of weeks! LOL I hope it doesn't take long to get your computer back from the doc.

I took my PC to Curcit City they have a special on now that only costs $99 to check out my Dell, get rid of the virus and clean out all the killer dst bunnies. LL I will have to pay more if it needs a new fan. He tech said it just might be full of dust that us why the fan us singing. I hope that is the only thing wrong. The tech knew what virus I got. LOL I fugured he would know. I do not like my lap top as much because of the flat keyboard and it is slow. LOL at least I can cotinue to be on line.

Well, better safe than sorry, is cool. I don't know why I am so daring when it comes to tinkering with my computer. I guess, for one thing, I don't usually have the money to take it to the shop. I don't have the patience to sit on the phone with tech support, and I hate not being able to get on my computer whenever I choose to. These are all good reasons for taking those risk. At least I hope they are.
