What makes you busy that you cannot get to log in to mylot?

Most of us here in mylot log in regularly. Most come here everyday to post several discussions, respond to other's topics, and sometimes just to check in. People love to stay here and don't notice that time pass by. But there are times we cannot possibly get to log in to mylot. There are some circumstances that just prevents us to visit. We all have our own reasons. Lately, unfortunately, I cannot stay as long or even at time cannot log in. My daughter has been sick and I"ll have to pacify her, and get her more comfortable. She has a fever, cough and runny nose. She can't sleep and gets restless. She's throwing up everywhere. Oh, I hope she gets well soon, so sad for a little child to have this. Normally, she is so active and cheerful. I guess, I have to get back to her. So, do you also have this moment when you can't get to log in to mylot? What are the reasons? Thanks in advance for sharing.

Usually it's my work that makes me not log in to myLot always. When i'm in the office, I do log in to myLot just to check and if i'm having my break I do reply to some discussions. I spend more time in myLot when it's weekend. Take care

Thanks fab. It is quite exhausting to have to take care of my sick baby. She's quite improved though. Not anymore throwing up that much. She's still has a fever, colds and cough, and quite cranky. Thanks friend for your well wishes, and apparently for the first one to reply. Take care also. Hugs.

Hi sophylline, I am sorry that your daughter had suffered a lot for being sick for some days. I believe she is ok now as the above discussion you had started 3 weeks ago.
Yeah, sometimes there are some unexpected things to block us to log on to mylot. Last week the networks here broke down for almost three days. My husband and I kept on making call to hasten the concerned department to restore the networks service. Though it was only three days for me it seemed to be years long. I was really depressed for that particular period as I could not meet any of my mylot friends.

Hi Ikbooi. Yes, my daughter, thank God, is doing fine now. Though, she has been struck quite badly by the flu. She came out of it very slowly. I, on the other hand, got sick by the flu also the following week, probably from lack of sleep as my baby had a hard time sleeping at night then. Anyways, thanks for the sympathy.
Same here, my internet service provider had some trouble. I had to wait for a few days to get the connection smooth again. Oh, Ikbooi, I am sorry for that you got depressed for not being here on mylot. But everything's fine now. I hope it won't be soon again till something troubling comes up with the networks service. It's because of the heavy rains we've been experiencing I think. Well, I hope you enjoy your mylot now.(: See you around.

No matter how busy I am I still try my best eke out my posting by working midnight.
Normally I will stay apart from mylot while I am away from home for vacation. I will be busy to accompany my son while he is home from another state. The most depressing moment is the time when the computer is out of service and have to send for repairing for a couple of days. Networks breaking down will make me sad as well.

Hi Ikbooi. Don't we just love mylot.(: It is rather too bad, I must agree when internet connection breaks down. Lately, since it's been raining hard for quite sometime in my area there has been disruptions to my internet connection. All I could do was wait patiently.(;

Usually its just because im working. Or maybe im busy running errands. I try to get on to do at least a couple of discussions. If i dont have time to reply then i at least get on to check my earnings.

I usually try to get on mylot at least once a day. Even if it's just to answer my emails (responses to responses, my posts and my friends discussions.)
There isn't much that keeps me from doing that at least once a day. However, as far as doing anymore (reading others discussions and maybe posting one myself) I don't have much of a chance to do get on sometimes while I'm at work if I'm busy doing work and If I don't come home after work till late and/or I'm out and about on the weeknds than that's pretty much all that keeps me from mylot.
Oh yeah and not finding good discussions. that keeps me from mylot sometimes too!

Ha! That's funny. I also can relate, there are times, though after responding to your friends topics, and commenting to those who responded from your post, then you go look for other discussions and cannot find any that you can reply to. That's frustrating for me. And keep me from mylot also. LOL

yeah it happens in mylot too.I have no child ,so i need not care for it.but i know that it is more important to take care of a sick child.if I have I 'd also do.hope your little girl gets well soon..An important thing is my job. when I am busy I have no time to play computer and have to work hard until finish the task.when I am free such as weekend,holidays i like to spend more time in mylot..take care..

That's right. Life nowadays is getting hectic and complicated. We need to worry and spent time on things which our ancestors do not need to. So, sometimes, as what you have pointed out, it's really hard to allocate time to do it, even if it's as simple as logging in Mylot. Therea are so many factors in life which could stop me from being in Mylot. The major factors are like work. Sometimes, I need to work late and become so fatigued and the idea of logging into Mylot won't cross my mind. Besides, there are other priorities in life which I need to attend to eg friend's wedding, friend's visit and etc. I still remember that my time was even occupied when I was still in relationship with my ex. We spent most of the time for dating and outting together. It's really fun and also really buzy. Now she had left me, and I had my own free time. I was quite free during just after she left me and I really had a lot of time in Mylot. But then, after I recovered from my mourning of the break-up, and my life got back to normal, I still find my time is so occupied LoL.

That's right. A relationship devoted person like me, finally realize that relationship is not all of our life and there many more things that we need to attend to. But I still think that it's very imporatant, and it's really almost equivalent to the importance of family and friends. Because the partner that stay most of the time with us is our soul mate. If without a soul mate, we will be lonely for a big part of our life. Therefore I am very cautious in choosing my life partner now and don't want to be hurt again and together with a person that we really love and getting along well, will make the relationship longer and meaningful.
What you said is true, and that's why we can still participating in Mylot discussion LoL. (you said we will come back regardless of how buzy we are in our daily life)

Oh yes, you are definitely right, to have somebody for a lifetime partner is important. I think when you are also ready in all aspects of your life (eg., emotionally, spiritually, financially, etc.), then you can choose to be with a partner. I think it is about mainly choosing to be committed that you sustain your relationship. For you to commit yourself for the growth of your union, for your own growth and also helping your partner for her own growth as well. Keeping your relationship is also work and do not be fooled by relying only on romance. But it is important as well. There are times that everything will pass, but as you go on and keeping on with the relationship and having faith you will find it rewarding. I know I don't have a perfect relationship. I don't think anyone has for that matter, but we learn along the way. I really hope for you to find your own sweetheart and rejoice in it when you've found one. So, take your time, and God willing, will help you to find your own. Have a nice day, and take care my friend.

Of course work is a priority and that is very understandable as we need it to make our living. And love ones are essentially also a priority above everyhting else. I do agree with you having a girlfriend or boyfriend will make you focus more on this area by creating all sorts of bonding, like dining out, going to the movies, doing things together, etc., especially when you are still in the stage of getting to know each other. I am sorry to hear about your girlfriend not being with you anymore, but I am sure you have already recovered from the break up. We have so many other things to do, but with all of that we just can't seem to forget mylot, don't you agree? We just keep coming back.

Yes, we have the same values. My main priority is my family and source of income understandably. And then I enjoy also being here in mylot for it is a good avenue to meet other people around the world, learn about them, and make friends. It is really a good site and very enjoyable.

i used to log in regularly in my lot before when im new here because that time i dont have a ob so i have a lot of time to be online but now i couldn't log in regularly. as i have real job now. Sometimes by the end of the day after work, im so tired that i cant log in and my brain is drain but whenever i had time and i have many thoughts flow in my mind i really find a time to log in and share those thoughts.

If I can't log into MyLot, it's probably because I have a migraine. But lately my parents have been unexpectedly ill. So sometimes helping them out keeps me away from here. But I do not mind. I'd rather be helping them than anything at all.

Hi there. I think having one of my children sick would do it for me too, I would'nt spend as much time as I do here either, I would be too busy looking after the my sick if that were the case... There would be several things that can stop me from logging in to mylot. The first reason would definitely be my job. I like doing my job so I have to prioritize it. Besides, I have to give justice to what they're paying me by working well. Another competition for mylot would be the television. Sometimes, I get so caught up with the shows on tv that I can't log in to mylot. I do that also to relax sometimes when I'm too tired to think. The next hindrance to a mylot discussion would be a good book. When I start reading a good book, I wouldn't want to put it down. Other reasons would be occasional engagements I have to attend to. But then, my mind would still be in mylot while doing all those other things.

LOL. Same here! I find my mind also thinking about mylot when I'm doing something else.
It's very understandable to have to prioritize your job. I'm not much into TV watching though. But I would definitely most agree with a good book. I also find myself get caught up with a great book, so hard to put down, that I sometimes, do not get to log in to mylot.

Oh, how nice that you are able to drive now and received your driver's permit. I remember when I was still learning how to drive, I was really excited! Hi jHoEn. I'm sure what you went through was pretty stressful. I felt the same when I had to drive the first time on a real busy road. But I took my time to learn first on a very peaceful subdivision where almost no vehicles go through. Believe me, I had my share of those sweats popping from my head when driving on a highway.LOL But I would suggest to practice, practice, practice. In no time, you'll get the hang of it.
Oh they are stricter in Australia for giving out driver's license. But, what matters I guess Is that you have the provisional learners permit so you can actually drive legally. Good luck! Safe driving. Take care.

yeah! thats what i feel the moment i pass the examination for the learners permit... we just go for a drive today on kuranda which is 22 km away from home and gosh! it give me stress... its a long and winding road and there were lots of big cars! and it was my first time! my head ar sweating!
but on our way back home its better... i know how to handle it properly...
how i wish i can get my liscence soon... but that would be impossible... they change the rules now... learners must hold it for a year then go for provisional 1 for a year then provional 2 for 2 years before you can get the open liscence... but i am willing to wait... as long as i can drive lol

Yes, this happens with all of us i think , as no matter how much we all may want to come and join and be with mylot, at times there are other things that are priority and we have to tend to before coming her, as once we are here it easily takes 2-3-4 hours to sit and be with everyone and we dont even like to leave earlier than that.
I think what makes me not come here is when my kids need my attention in order to teach them, or when i have to cook, or clean up the house or when guests come in or when we are sleeping or have to go out, for dinner or just an outing etc, or of course when i am in the office. As i think if any of us is free, we would have come here isnt it? Its only when we are pre-occupied and other things have tied us up that its not possible to come here.Each person will have their own reasons for not coming here as each one has different priorities too, so it would all depend from person to person too.

I was wondering what the reasons are for members here in mylot to not log in as of the usual. There are so many reasons. Different reasons for different people and different occasions and circumstances. Most would state of their work outside or inside the home. I was talking more about why you cannot log in as your usual schedule I guess. but you have clearly stated your reasons. Thanks for sharing.

Its normally my commitments for the family which keep me from spending much time on the net. My daughters midterm exams are approaching and i am concentrating on them. I am also busy with many other sites on the net like shvoong, adbux, surveysites like globaltestmarket and ciao. All this leaves little time for me to spend on mylot still i manage to answer some 5 to 10 discussions on a daily basis.

hi sophylline. Mylot is the place where we enjoy the lonly hours. Here we get beautiful people with there beautiful thaughts. I usually go there at early in the morning hour when I get my speedy internet connection and also my fresh mind after getting up from dreamy land of asleep. But some time breaking incidents occurs which disturbs all of the routine work. The same appens with me which stops me to log on or which causes to stay here at mylot for a little span of time. I feel that I could not live with out mylot. What magic are there in mylot? I dont know. Your daughter was suffering, but you came back here after her treatmnt. Yes her treatment and look after had the first priority which prevented you to come here. Same happens with me and many others on mylot. But we could not miss it for a long time with out any reason. Am I right?

You are right about that. We do enjoy mylotting! It's so addicting, isn't it? What's the magic? I guess it's the interaction, the camaraderie, the good friends we are able to gain here on mylot, that makes us come here often. You are again definitely right. We could not miss mylot for a long time without any reason. We would always go back here after some priorites have been made.(:

Hello sophylline, What makes me busy that I cannot get to log in to mylot usually is my work. I have days where I have to be out in the field all day going to several customer's site. At the end of the that day I am really tired usually just sitdown watch television when I get home and staright to bed.:-)

The things that make me busy are that I mainly do mylot last and i do my other sites and things throughout the day. Everyday activities with my boyfriend and household chores also prevent me from coming in to mylot like I would like to. I go through spurts where I'll be on for hours and then other times I might go a day or two without getting on. Like this month, I have a lot of work to do if I want to reach minimum payout by the end of the month.
