Christmas and New year holidays are just around the corner.I would like to know how would like to spend these holidays? Is there's something that you really want to have or do? Please don't be shy to let me know ... who knows Santa Claus is ready to grant your wish.

I would really love to spend the holidays with my fiance' who is in the Navy and on deployment right now. I'm hoping he'll be back by the beginning of December and can take leave (vacation) to come see me.

I love to see my childrens faces when they open their presents, it always makes me feel so good. This year I want to go camping on Stradbroke Island (Australia) and watch them play the days away on the beach. I love to see all of my family on this holiday, but usually stay low on new years.

I can sense that you are a great daddy. And you are right, its a joy to make and be with your family not only in these holidays but should be all the time.Yet, taking them to some special places will always be a thrill to them and an activity to remember.Staying low is also not a bad idea. Simplicity is beauty as long as you keep your family together.Keep up the good work, I'm sure your family appreciated it.

Hello, I envy those people who can share these holidays with their husband and kids.No matter how can it be luxurious or just simple gathering for sure its all that matters. Of course, it will be nice if we can afford to grant everyone wants wishes but the most important thing is being together and be as healthy as possible. And your faith, trust and love to our God will always be in the top your priorities. Enjoy your family.

I've been fantasizing about sitting in front of the tube with a bottle of whiskey while I watch the entire Band Of Brothers series, from beginning to end...

This year I will be alone for the holidays seeing as my husband is in Iraq...so I will probably go to the beach and have a picnic or just lay out and enjoy the sun.

It must be hard to be away from your husband esp. for the holidays but like you said going out to the beach and be tan is not a bad idea at all. It doesn't mean that we have to be sad if we are alone. Just enjoy life to the fullest as much as we can.Hope your husband is ok in Iraq.
