should i be worried ?!.... is she okay ? / myLot

A week ago i responded to a posting to a young girl, who was discussing about committing suicide. The girl hasnt put any postings since then... hasnt replied to my request to add her a freind.... Should i be worried ? Is this normal ? I have only been active in Mylot the past 2 weeks, so this kind of experience is totally new to me. I hope others may share their experience and advice. ( I just hope the girl has been absent due to some other reasons )

I've been worried too...hope you don't mind I was able to track down the person you were discussing here and you're right she hasn't been here in two weeks. I have a similar concern as there was another mylotter who was saying the same thing..I even started a discussion so fellow MyLotters could send prayers his way...I even PMd him and gave him my personal email should he want to write to me. He told me that he was suffering from deep depression, but that he went to a doctor and was given medicine. Problem is, the very last I heard from him was on July 2...two months ago!!! I've emailed him several times but he hasn't answered..it could be maybe he's just sorting out his life and needs time alone?? I sure hope so....And like the person you're concerned about...the only thing we can do is to continue sending our prayers that they are all right...It IS very disturbing to hear things like this and not know what has happened

thank you... thank you... thank you.... actually, i was getting depressed thinking about this issue, and thinking that no one else in mylot cared. i go to her profile everyday just to check if she has put up any new postings or response. i really hope she's fine, and dare not think of the worst. thank you, again... for caring WITH me.
