I think that movie is going to be great! I got so excited when I first saw the previews to it. I love any movie by Tim Burton especially if Johnny Depp is in it. I hadn't heard about that though, but I wouldn't doubt that thats what happened. Tim Burton has one cool erie imagination.

Im glad that he's not like that though. cause it's his strangeness that makes him who he is and his movies.

i have just seen sweeney todd. i think that it is brilliant. personally i hate helena bonnham carter, and she was rather annoying in the film. however, i do think that johnny more than compensated for her role. all in all, a very good film, but i wouldnt expect anything else from tim burton and johnny depp

hi confessinggirl! ^__^ i watched this movie on its first day on the cinemas and i really loved it! i loved how Johnny Depp portrayed Benjamin/Sweeny Todd. i can feel his anger and the thirst for revenge. and he is a good singer too! he sang like a rock star. i love the dark humor of the film. and also the gore, all the blood. even if Sweeny Todd's blood in the end really looked like ketchup. ^__^;; the movie was really fantastic! everybody was awesome! i also loved all the songs. i especially like No one's gonna harm you and Joana. ^__^

I recently watch Sweeney Todd. It was interesting. Not as gory as I thought it was going to be.

I actually really want to see this. I'm intrigued by the fact that it's supposed to still be a musical and that someone I know who saw it told me it was gory.

I can't wait to see this film. I love musicals and to have Johnny Depp in it will make it a must see for me! I also think the films Tim Burton directs always offer something different to the norm and I always look forward to them. Roll on December! As for the horrid scenes in the film well how can you make a film about a murdering barber that slits peoples throats without making it shocking...it just can't be done.

I saw it and I thought it was great! I am a Johnny Depp fan. He was perfect--a man whose sole purpose in life was to seek revenge. He was excellent throughtout and all the singing was good. Yes it was too gorey and I had to not look but at least you knew--every time someone sat in the barber's chair, don't look. One of my favorite scenes was the look on Johnny Depp's face when he was on the beach (a dream sequence)-- he was not a happy man. It's funny, everyone I know who wanted to see it, their husband/wife did not want to see it. I have not heard of one couple yet who saw it together. I ended up going with my two adult kids and my girlfriend begged me to let her husband go with us because she and my husband did not want to see it. I had seen the play version and a DVD of it. Such a dark yet still entertaining story. I give it 5 stars.

It's wonderful movie . . . It reminds me somehow Edward Scissorhands! Well-done work!
