I had to work on Monday. Monday I got up, went to work, then went for about an hour to visit my mom, then picked up the roomie & the cat, Cookie. Dropped Cookie off at the adoption ladies so she could be gotten ready to go to her new home, went & picked up something I got off Freecycle & then on out to the roomie's folks. I felt totally beat by the time I got out there, doing all that between 2 & 4:30.

I spent Saturday sewing and then hanging out with friends, Sunday I slept late and lazed around, before going to a party with some other friends, and Monday I spent the majority of the day writing and working on crafts, before running a bunch of errands when my fiance got home from work. Overall, it was a nice long weekend, though work today seems even worse because of the long weekend. It's like a Monday, only it's Tuesday, and the short work week always throws me off!

Well not a whole heak of a lot. My daughter had to work, and I just came off of my overnight weekend. My son was off with his girlriends family. As a rule I would have BBQed. So I just put some bomeless pork with BBQ sauce in the crockpot, and had some side dishes. Nothing special this year. Labor Day is not really a big thing in our family. Back in the day when I was a kid, we would have a big family picnic at the lake, but those days are gone now.

Yeah I didn't do much either, my b/f and a friend worked on the house Friday, Saturday and Sunday but today my b/f has not moved from the couch and so I have been able to play on the computer all day without interruptions for a tool or a ladder.

Up until an hour ago I was babysitting my granddaughter and enjoyed every minute of it! I'm also bonding with my new cockatiel and hand feeding him so I kept busy.
