Do you believe in the Law Of Attraction (LOA) mentioned in 'The Secret' ?

Hi there. I do believe in the law of attraction, for I think of it as simple common sense, what one asks for, he gets... Ive also watched the secret and thoroughly enjoyed it, I like how its made simple and understandable for all watchers or readers... I preferred the movie, to the book...

I think it's a matter of more than "wishing." I think you also have to do something proactively. Maybe I'm wrong. If I am, please correct me. I'm still learning about the Law of Attraction.

The Secret is a hyped up creation designed to attract money from you to the creators of the video and book. Yes, there are ideas in there that have value. My biggest gripe is the wishes come true aspect. Nothing happens without you taking action of some kind. Wishing isn't action. The wish or the desire is merely the very fisrt step... not the only step.

I have not read the book yet so I really don't know if it is real. But if you say what you kind of wished for, came true, then maybe it is real. But...why do you say "kind of"? Were you supposed to wish for it according to the "rules" of the Law Of Attraction? I don't really know if there are rules,...but I'm just wondering why you used "kind of" wished for... Anyway, I am interested in finding out if it really works...so I'll probably try to find a copy of the book sometime.

I haven't read this book, but plan to after I get through a few other books. I do believe in the law of attraction though, it's very powerful stuff. Absolutely I do. Have you ever seen "What the bleep do we know?" ? If not - I highly recommend you get it - not rent it - buy it. Its similiar - its all quantom physics - about the science of possibilities. The star is Marlee Matlin and she does a really good job as she is shown how we create our own realities.
