9/11 will be upon us soon. Do you have any plans of how you will remember what happened on that day? I plan to go on our military base where there is a memorial called Warriors Walk, where they have planted trees and at the base of each tree is a marker with a name of a soldier who made that ultimate sacrifice. I want to go there and thank them and have a moment of silence for all that were lost on that day. Then I plan to spend the day being thankful for all I have and for the fact that, while my husband is deployed to Iraq, he is still with me and can call me to say I love you when the opportunity arises for him to be able to do so. This thread is not for political outbursts on what our beliefs are about that day or the war. It is simply asking if you have any plans of remembrance.

In 2002 when I moved into my own apartment I bought a 3 foot by 4 foot photo print of the New York skyline with the WTC at night. I love it!! It's hanging over my sofa. I'm in the USA until Sept 17, so I'll be in the country for 9/11. I'm in Arizona, and I'm wondering what people do in this part of the country to remember.

I really have no answer as to what is done there. I can only say what I do and that is, I remember the victims, those lost victims and the living.
