Did you go to your highschool prom? Did you enjoy it and was it worth the money that was spent? My junior year I went with a group of friends and it was okay, but alot of the boys ruined it by starting food fights, throwing stuff, etc. Alot of girls got their dresses ruined that evening. I enjoyed the after-prom more. It was a casino night at the high school gym. I didn't go my senior year because I figured it was a waste of money to get a dress ruined by idiots. But I did go to after-prom again and enjoyed it.

I couldn't manage to go the junior year prom as I was not well that time, but I went to the senior year prom and it was quite fun.. We guys had loads of fun, had our share of booze and all that masti stuff... Girls from our batch were also enjoying the party, infact they were more into it.. There were less boys on the floor than girls.. That was quite a memorable moment.. We rocked the dance floor till the wee hours of morning... I can't forget those moments my entire life... I even got hooked to one of the girls there...

Did you go to your highschool prom? Yes, but that was many many moons ago I am afraid. I remember it clearly enough that one would have thought it was yesterday, but sadly it has been 17 years ago since then. Good grief it just killed me to type that out! Lord excuse me while I knock this dust off me, LOL. Did you enjoy it and was it worth the money that was spent? No and no. I went with a boy whom I had the biggest crush on and I thought me as well. We had been going out for 6 months and he had not kissed me yet, so I thought for sure that night was going to be the magical moment. Well we go to the prom and he wouldn't dance with me, wouldn't get his picture with me and he wanted to leave early. Said he was feeling out of place there the whole time. Then he took me home and dropped with off with a "bye" and no kiss. I cried myself to sleep that night. Years later he came out of the closet! No joking, he was gay but didn't want anyone to know, I was just a front for him. I had no clue then and I was devastated at such a tender age at the fact he thought something was wrong with me. So my prom was horrible.

Wow, now that sounds like an unforgettable night. LOL Atleast you weren't married to him and then he came out of the closet!

Yes, I went to my Junior and Senior Proms. My Junior was sad because I had no date, and my Senior was very memorable because I my friend was my date, and it was at Disney California Adventure Grand Hotel, the after party was at Downtown Disney. It was pretty sweet.

I definitely did come to the prom I believe this was the most memorable thing that is instill on my mind till now, since it just happens once in our life , to become like a princess and dance with guys, For me it is cool yet exciting,Some people wish that to happen again and others wanted to forget about it because of some experiences occur during that day. But passing through this event was really a prt of life. Congratulation to the inventor of this event ....

I didn't go to any of my school dances and I'm rather thankful that I saved all the money I might have spent on dresses and tickets. Most of the people I knew who did go said they were terrible and the music wasn't the style I would have liked.

We don't have proms, but we do have grad dances. I went to mine - it was nice, but not particularly special. I think I had more fun at some of my university events.

I sure did! I enjoyed going to the prom and it was very special for me, as I migrated to Australia one month afterwards. I was lucky to be able to finish high school in my country and also to go to the prom, as my two sisters were not that lucky, as they did not finish high school till later. More meaningul to me than the party perhaps was the gold school ring, which I still wear today, nearly 30 years after graduation. The ring has my graduation date and the school emblem, including a llama to represent Peru. I have lost that ring a few times, but always got it back, thank goodness!

I have gone to 9 proms but I didn't go to my own. Figure that one out! LOL We had fun. My friends and I don't usually dress up so it was like being a little kid again and getting into moms closet. I dressed up to the 9. Makeup, hair, shoes, manicure, etc... All through school I was the Tom boy, the punk, the freak, not gurlie AT ALL so when I would dress up and go to these proms it was hilarious the reactions I would get.

Unfortunately the school I went to was a catholic high school, and our principal was against any kinds of balls or dances. We didn't have any prom, just a recollection seminar. How boring can that be?

I went to Prom my senior year of high school. My date was the guy I married 2 weeks after graduation...and divorced 7 years later. I thought Prom was a little boring, dances were never my thing. I am glad I went though just so I would never wonder if I should have gone. I was upset that night because my parents gave me a curfew and none of my friends had one. It's funny to think back on now. I was a brat. :)

I went to my highschool prom. it was important thing for me to see some people for the last time. I went there with some of my good friend of that moment and I didnt have a boy with me. The food was great, the dancing also and my song of the year was plaign that night (All my life from K-ci and Jojo). The afterparty was ok. I had to chose with who I really wanted to go. But it was still ok.

I didn't go my junior year but i did go my senior year. I went with my highschool boyfriend. It was pretty fun. I don't dance so we just hung out and watched everyone dance. I don't remember what we did after the prom, we didn't have an after party.
