Do you put notify on for a friend when you add?

Say you have got a friend's request. You go and accept it. Do you promptly put notify on or you go to the friends link after some day and put notify on if u feel so? I do the later one. What abt u all?

Yes I do for what is the point of being here if you're not wanting to be alerted to a discussion that's being made? That's just MY opinion and I respect others for theirs. I don't come up with many discussions but rather like to respond to them so I have the alert on for all.

I don't have a lot of friends yet... i always put notify on everytime someone accepts my invitation... but i have not received any messages yet...

Sometimes I do leave an alert on...but it doesn't seem to work. I try to make the circuit route to friends who come to my site the most and add to their topics the way they do to mine. After that I clic on friends discussions and begin adding to them for as long as I am on line. Other times I check out new disucssions to see who is new and to keep things fresh. So I have a few ways of keeping in touch and they all work.
