Bangalore is now gearing up to have metrol train. At present, there is a good public transport of buses, private buses, taxis, 3 wheeler autos (which can take 3 to 4 people), millions use motor bikes, and of course cars andcycles. I use the car to cover 5 km and more. If it is less than 5 kms and if there is a parking problem, I use the public transport.

YOu are right. In USA, sometimes the car cost (second buy) is cheaper than one month rent for car parking!! A nation of cars.

My vision is not very good, so I'll never be able to drive, but that's OK. Where I am now, everything I could possibly want is within walking distance. If I have a long way to go, I use a wheelchair. I'm better sitting down than I am on my feet. If I want to go around my hometown I take a bus, and same goes if I want to go to Toronto. When I want to go between Canada and the United States or anywhere else, I fly.

We have a lot of forms of transportation but it seems normal for me is either car or air plane. I would love to take a nice long train ride sometimes.

I have my own car and that is what I use most of the time. WHen i travel long distances I usually take my car as well. I can stop for food or to go to the restroom when I need to or if I feel I need to stretch I can do so when I want to. It gives you more freedom to travel on your own. Sometimes I do fly though.

In my country, the transport we have are taxi, bus and subway train. I hardly take taxi because it is more expensive. I would usually take bus or subway train depending which one is more convenient to my destination.

A car would suit me just fine! A long drive is definitely wonderful if you're with the right people! Only thing is.. gas prices are getting quite out of hand! I guess if I ever get really rich that wouldn't be a problem though.. but if I ever got really rich I would want a jetplane/helicopter.. haha, that would be wonderful! Get me where i'm going, and fast! and I definitely wouldn't be dealing with traffic :-p

Here in our place, taking the bus is very convenient. Although sometimes it takes ages for them to arrive, you will never arrive late for school if only you wait by the bus stop early, too. Students are eligible for free bus pass, too so I'd say moneywise, it's very affordable too. When we go back to our home school from our sister school, the college orders cabs for us.
