I think I have a problem with this..no, I don't think..I'm sure I have a problem with this, of saying NO and saying I cannot do that anymore. It seems my body and mind is giving up..and yet I see so many things to do.. My friends here knew how I have a busy evening schedules and I think I'm beginning to say it's enough. I was supposed to have a teaching session with Christian Education leaders at one of our outreach tonight but I declined..actually I just postponed it till next month since I am really full this month.I so feel bad for having to postponed it..you know that guilty feeling? I'm currently taking a month long course which is every Tuesday and Thursday nights, and to be able to do that, I cancelled my tuesdays and thursdays regular activities. I have not been able to do regular tutorials which falls every mondays and wednesdays.. And office work is taking its toll on me too. So now, I am really tired, body and mind. And I know I really have to say NO, I cannot do that anymore, I have so much in my hands..so many responsibilities.. I only have myself to blame though...:(

i think you're overworked. and the 'steam' is pushing non-stop you can't take it anymore. remember, you're not a machine nor a robot. even machines need some break! so, why don't you treat yourself to a sauna bath or something - it'll only take a few hours... (forget about the whole world for a while, forget about the internet, forget about the 'crazy monkey'-he's just got back from a long 'sauna bath'..lol...)

Oh dear I do know exactly how you feel - I am lifting prayers for us both that we will be able to learn to say no with love and find peace of mind and body each day if only for a few minutes.

I think most of have a problem with saying "no", and we do feel the guilt. I have the same problem, but I'm making a conscious effort to say no if I feel I can't do what's asked of me, etc. The great thing is, that people do understand when you tell them your reasons why - you just have to speak up. It sounds like you are getting burnt out with too much going on in your life cefaz, so for your own health, you have to learn to say no. You have to draw the line somewhere. You will feel better for it, believe me.

Hello cefaz_21, Maybe you should rest a bit and cool down *smiles* It seems like you are trying to do everything at the same time. I know it is hard but if it is your choice, you must be strong and strive to make it a success! Sometimes, when we feel too exhausted, we just want to surrender. I hope you will get back soon and work hard again to achieve your dreams *winks*

Try not to think too much of it, because we all feel that way at times. That is life, we have to deal with all of it to make the best for our family. I suggest you take a vacation, to relieve your stress and relax you mind. Sometimes I just pray about it and ask for guidance, for Him to make me stronger everyday I wake up.

Put it in prayer my friend. Hang in there, do what you can, prioritise the important things first and the deal with the secondary when you can. What is most important for you right now? this minute? deal with that first and then pick up the others when you can! Good luck.

You need to look to God, if you are a child of God. He will lead you in what he wants you to do. Just because it is a good thing, does not mean thing it is something that God wants you to do. The Lord will help you to prioritize. Remember that he said in his word, "My yoke is easy and my burden is light."

you cannot occupy everything in the same space at the same time my dear..no matter how much we wanna be the super person we cannot do that..we can think we can but it will reflect on our body..i think your abusing your body too much..it kinda makes me worry because you might get sick because you stress your body too much with work..you need a break for all of this and you gotta manage your schedules..one schedule at a time..don't accept this then drop that..it wont be nice sure you will be feeling guilty..just accept what you can rather than postponing or turning them down..reschedule them when you are available..that way you will not feel so much tired..you have to have time management

Hi cefaz! I totally understand what you're feeling. At times, we say "YES" because we feel that we can do all things at hand. But.... Just take a moment for yourself. To breathe some fresh air and spend some time to reflect then organize your schedules. It also helps to pray for it because you do so. I know that everything that you do is special for you and saying no to them means (sometimes) giving up on those things. But, it isn't.... It's just a matter of organizing everything and putting things in order. Take some days off. Or have that moment of solitude where you can take some "breather". :) All the best for you! God bless! \(",)_

You have a door on your home, right? And you keep it closed, sometimes even locked, right? Why? Because you don't want people to come in and help theselves to everything in your house. Has anyone ever gotten angry with you for having a door on your house, because they think that you should just let them come in and help themselves? Of course not! People don't realize that their time and energy are resources that have limits. Sometimes you have to close the door because you just can't give everything you have to everyone and have none left for yourself, and people have no more right to demand all your time and energy than they do to help themselves to everything in your house. Remember that.

Hi!Well, choose the list of activities based on importance & interest,& be bold enough to say NO where you have to & YES where you have to;TIP...Follow your conscience to help you not to feel GUILTY.The bottom line is ..You have to be satisfied at the end of the DAY with whatever you have done so that you are at peace. For your stress & tiredness-do MEDITATION & a small YOGA workout in the morning. It would refresh you & boost you with energy. GOD BLESS!! www.creatingcolourfulfuture.com
