Where has common sense gone?

So right now I can't breathe because the maintenance guy at my apartment complex is mowing the lawn, I'm allergic to cut grass big time and these apartments are so old that the windows and doors all have little gaps. So of course it comes through and I suffer. Here's my point though... ok so we are having a major drought here in Alabama which means the grass is nearly dead yet in this complex they cut the grass like every other day. Wait... it get's better! So they do this on a riding lawn mower, the area to cut is like a very small yard between the buildings, not very large and a lot smaller than most home yards. They also use the riding lawn mower to get around the bushes that are under the windows, which have a sidewalk in front so really it's maybe 2 feet by 3 feet area with bushes between. Doing so takes them from 8 am until 5 pm. Here's where the common sense kicks it, who does that? Who seriously uses a riding lawn mower to cut an area of grass that is 1/4th the size of the lawn mower itself? They also cut down all the trees and bushes and left little stubs and the branches all over my patio and sidewalk. I am starting to think that common sense is dead!
