Is God Fearing, more Righteous than God Loving? Is it OK to Fear God? Can you Love God Fearlessly? Which comes first in your life, the Love or the Fear of God? Lets have a discussion on these complicated Questions!

Fearing God means respecting him. respecting Him comes with loving Him. so if you truly love God you will fear HIm. it doesn't mean that you are scared of Him. it just means you realize how great He truly is and you respect HIm.

This is well thought out! I understand your respect. And your love, but how can you Fear someone you Love? These 2 emotions are not compatable! Is there anything, or anybody, anywhere, (except for God) that you both Fear and Love? Its an unusual combination. I love, and have respect for my dog. But if he bit me, I wouldn't Fear him. I'd shoot him!

Ok, so you love and respect your spouse. Do you also Fear your spouse? If you have kids you love and respect them, but you don't Fear them! Some how your logic does not make a lot of sense!

I do not fear The Source, Infinite Intelligence... my "terms" for God. Fear would be a odd emotion to have. I have never understood this.

Its quite obvious that you are not a Member of an Organised Religion. Nor am I. Thanks for that!

I trust, respect and love God, because I believe that God is part of everything, and that through love and respect for God, fear of anything is eliminated. If we all focus on doing the right, principled actions because of love for others and God, then we have no reason to fear God. I do not believe in an angry or vengeful god, as you can tell. Great question, it helped me clarify my thoughts. I feel better now. All the best, -Conservative Artist

I like your response! I agree with you! The love of God eliminates Fear. Jesus said, "Fear Not!" Religion says," Fear God!"

Back in the Old Testament days, people feared God. Not because people love God but because they are scared of the punishment God will give them if they won't follow the Law of Moses-- the Ten Commandments. We had The 10 Commandments.. Unconsciously, people somehow had created a bondage in it. People tried to do good..get good. Followed the Law but to no avail...it only made them sin more or just walk away from God because they can never follow the Law and just let it be that way. I will show you how good God is. So that from there..when you see His goodness, you will learn to love Him..and not be scared of Him. When God sees that His people- (that's us) cannot do it on our own. He felt for us...and guess what He did... Because he love us so much...He sent His only Son, Jesus to redeem us from it all. . . He knows that humans are sinful in nature...and could not be righteous so He let Jesus took the whippings and blows ..be crucified so we could be freed from that bondage and be righteous in His eyes. Meaning, We are covered by Jesus' blood. And when God sees us, He only sees the perfection of His Son in us...For short, Jesus has got us covered. Isn't that a good news? The Grace of God is multiplied in us. He is only waiting for us to accept it. And when you will have the revelation of His love through His Son, Jesus...you will see His abundant Grace...and then will love Him more...

if you love sin then fear god, if you love god then fear sin.
