Do you agree with the death penalty?

We should act a certain way when we live within a society. We should treat people with respect and not cause harm to anyone. When we do harm others and commit horrific crimes, then we should be removed from society. But do we have the RIGHT to put someone to death? I believe we do NOT have the right to decide whether someone lives or dies. I believe we have the right to remove them from our society so they cannot harm anybody, but i believe it's up to GOD to decide if a person should die. If we do put people to death (a jury deciding the fate of a defendant) then i believe they will suffer the consequences. If i were on a jury that had to decide the fate of a "monster" then i would give him/her life with no parole, i definitely would not sentence them to death. What do you think on the subject?

I do believe in it in certain circumstances...Like for murder...They made that decision to take another life so why cant a jury make a decision to take theirs...

Because the jury are not GOD, and 2 wrongs don't make a right. I just wouldn't want to risk it that's all.

But when we die we don't know for certain if we suffer for wrong doings we did when alive, so wouldn't you want the criminal to suffer instead of just ending their life?
