Wow! Another newbie with creative writing skills. Wahoo! Hello! Hello! Hello! A really good way to make friends is to do just what I did, go look at "discussions with no responses" and chip in with a response. With any luck you'll make a grateful friend really fast. If you send my a friend request, I will approve it and in all probability many of my myLot friends would be more than willing to adopt you as well. Welcome to this place. I think you are gonna like it!

No need of trembling hands and flowing tears. You see, we are such a HUGE family here that its kind of difficult to keep in touch with anybody and everybody all the time. that doesn’t mean that you cant make friends. keep going through discussions, hot topics, increase your interests and try to answer topics relevant to them. Once people get the hang of you, you will have many many responses, I am sure. And yes, initially I think it would be a good idea to responds to others, be a part and then start your own discussions. You will get more responses that way. And yes, you can also send ‘friends request’ to anybody whose posts you like, once they add you as ‘friends’ your discussions will automatically feature in a separate section and will be more visible. There are gadzillions of members who write in this site that your new post tends to move on to the next pages real quickly. I used to get upset about it too before, but I realized that hey, I'm here to write anything I like, anyway. It doesn't matter if anyone responds to my posts. HELLO buddy! Cheer up! Don't feel bad, it really happens here in Mylot that despite of the fact that there's a lot of members here that actively online and participating to many discussions, still, they can't come across to some of our discussions and mingle there. It's quite sad, but it's true.
