Have you read "A Wrinkle in Time"?

I jsut read that Madeleine L'Engle just passed away. Her books were some of my favorites when I was younger. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070907/ap_on_re_us/obit_l_engle

I also read it as a kid and loved it. There was a service in school where we could buy all kinds of books that Wrinkle in Time was one of my favorites. To be honest, I have no idea what other books she may have written., whether she had a lot of successful books or whether this was her one big "hit."

I read all three books in the series when I was a kid. They were some of my favorite books. I am sorry to hear that she passed away. The world will miss her. I loved the comment that she made in one of the articles I read about the Harry Potter series lacking substance. I understood exactly what she was saying--the Potter series is a popcorn series, light entertainment, but no deeper meaning. Heaven forbid it is ever considered literature.

I tried to read it and I did get through a few chapters of it but I could never really get into it. I should try and go back and read it though.
