One of my favorite chocolate treats are Cherry Cordials. It's not low fat by any means. But, it is simply divine. If you've never had it, then you're in for a real taste treat. It's a cherry smothered in cream and wrapped in a chocolate shell and just to die for. The dark chocolate variety are the best. I couldn't stop eating those when I was pregnant. You don't simply eat Chocolate cherry cordials, you experience them. As you sink your teeth into the soft chocolate shell and your taste buds pick up that first sugary bite of cream, you know you're in heaven! My sweetheart buys these decadent chocolate treats for me several times a year, usually on Valentines Day and Christmas. If I had to be stranded on a desert island with nothing but the clothes on my back, and one other thing, I'd be sure to bring my Dark Chocolate Cherry Cordials. They're simply delightful! Do you eat Cherry Cordials on special occasions or just any day of the week that you want to treat yourself? Do you prefer dark chocolate cherry cordials or the milk chocolate variety?

You've hit upon my all time favorite sweet treat. I don't dare buy them on a regular basis or I'd weigh 600 lbs. But I do allow myself 1 small box (12 cordials) at Valentine's Day and another small box around Christmas time. That's it for the year. I like the dark chocolate but prefer the milk chocolate. They are pure indulgence... mmmmmmm

I used to buy these for my first hubby, until he got so ill the sweetness caused him to strangle. I have a cute commemorative tin that the last ones came in. I buy them for my son. His dad liked the milk chocolate, but he likes the dark chocolate ones best. Those are harder to find around here, and the stores run out of them first. I cannot believe that my daughter in law does not like chocolate of any kind, but my grandson does. I have known a few people in my life who did not like chocolate, but very few. I think there was something wrong with them. LOL I like dark chocolate best, and I never try the sugar free. We try to have a piece of Dove dark chocolate promises every night. I like the cute and interesting sayings as well. A cherry cordial would be more of an evening romance desert type treat for me, with candle light perhaps, they are very good.

That is probably my husband's favorite chocolate candy. He normally isn't all that fond of chocolate, but every Christmas and Valentine's Day we have to get those, too. They are too expensive to get at other times of the year! We both prefer the milk chocolate kind. I don't really like dark chocolate. It tastes bitter and leaves an aftertaste most of the time. The one exception is mint and dark chocolate. Mmmm

ooh i love those things! my favorites are the milk chocolate ones. i like the ones with the white cream inside, but much prefer the ones with the clear syrupy liquid in them!! though for some reasons those ones are harder to find..dont know if they are actually called a different name or not. ive only seen them in stores around Valentines and Xmas.
