How many holidays your company offers to you?

I can have a week off work every year. It is not many. As some countries have offered more days off work. And some companies will offer you extra one day holiday if you work one more year. If it is true, then at least right now I should have 17 days off but I don't have it. If I ask for it, my boss will give me a forever days off. So I admire people who are lucky to have more days off work.

hi.. im sorry to hear that... well, in my case, i now enjoy more dayoffs or vacation..whatever you call it since i now work in a university. when students have semester break, christmas break, summer break, i wont have to go to work and i am enjoying those breaks... also if there are school-wide activities like university week, sportsfest, etc., i will have breaks... before, working as a staff in an organization only limits to government sanctioned holidays and the vacation leave of 15 days:-D

Oh, youless, it's unfortunate, i have they same holidays as the chinese public workers but if i have an emergency case my boss gives me a day off to transact whatever business it's apart from my normal off days on the weekend. i think on and on you'll have a luck to have days off for your leisure. good luck.

hello! in my country, the Philippines, there are so many holidays that the government has to adjust them towards the weekend. for the workaholics, they don't enjoy this. but for those you would like to spend more quality time for themselves and their families, this is good. maybe, you should try finding employment here, you might enjoy....Great days ahead, Perry

In Indonesia, most employees only get about 10 days off work every year.
Here in Finland, employees get 4 weeks off work every year. If they've been working in the company for years, then they get an extra week. Usually they take those 4 weeks off in summer and that one extra week off in winter. I guess Finnish people are lucky, then, to have a long holiday, plus they get paid the same amount of salary before taking the holiday.

Yeah, that's true, youless. Plus during long summer school holiday, they can spend enough time with their family, too.

we have many holidays off from work. it would start with the new year's day. and then i think, a special holiday we call "Edsa Revolution Day" on February. and then the Holy Week, and then the Labor Day, and then the Independence Day.. hmm.. cant remember what's next... i guess the next one would be the halloween and then Christmas. not to mention some Heroes Days, i think there are 2 or 3. ^__^;;
and then there's those days when there's a typhoon that even offices are affected and not only schools. we get some time off from work because of those typhoons. ^__^;;
