I took the leap to Triond

I joined triond.com and now have 2 poems published. I have decided to start publishing my work under the pen name I will be using when I get novel published - this being a message from my late father who has appeared to me in dreams. You can find me under my user name (I believe) patgalca, though the poems are published under Mary Patricia Bird. So if you get a chance to log on to Triond (you don't need to be registered) you can look for my poems. :)

Hello patgalca and all. Congratulations on your success at Triond. I plan to look up your name there and check out your poems. Today, Triond published one of my self-improvement articles. I am just getting starting at Triond and look forward to working with them. Hope you publish many items there. I will look for them. Pearl Grace

Yes, my first two poems were submitted on the weekend and were approved on Monday. The short story was accepted the very next morning after I submitted it. Yesterday I submitted two more (poem and article) and am still waiting for response.

May I answer this Patgaca? It's usually take about 2-3 days. Weekend takes a little longer. Just be patient and submit another thing while you wait.

Hello, katkat. I just read your article about tarsiers. I enjoyed it. I haven't ever heard of that animal before, so it was interesting to read about them. I hope you have much success at Triond. I am just getting started there. Pearl Grace

I have not joined Triond as of yet, because I want to find out a bit more about it. Does it just publish non-fiction or does it publish fiction. I gather it does. Now for the important question. Does it also pay for fiction? I know that Helium and Hub and Associated Content do not pay for fiction and that is what I write mainly. I have not figured a pen name yet.

I like those two poems very much. I have noticed the different name under your poems too. I hope you will enjoy Triond as much as I do. Now I have to learn how to promote my articles and poems through social book marking sites. If you have any ideas, please share!

Hello, IcyCucky. I just joined Triond and I noticed your name there, because it is so unusual. I am also trying to figure out the whole social bookmarking thing, including using sites like Digg, delicious, and stumble upon. It is all Greek to me, but I am going to keep trying to figure it out. We are in the same boat!! Pearl Grace P.S. I plan to look up some of your articles there.

I recommend using StumbleUpon. StumbleUpon is a great site that let's you discover interesting web pages in subjects that you like. It is easy to use and, with time, you will gather many friends that will check out the web pages and articles that you recommend - so I think this is the best way to promote your poems.
