I don't remember her name, and I am not a Christian, but I do enjoy listening/watching her sermons. The reason? She uses many translations of the bible, usually the Old Testament, and explains in it depth. She reads out of the Aramic, Hebrew, Latin, Spanish and a lot of other texts and she writes the words/scriptures on a set of 3 white boards. She does this so the people in the audience can see it for themselves. She does this to get the most original/literal translation of the earliest known texts. I'm watching it right now in fact. Oh, and Haggai means "festivities". Many of these texts do not translate well into English, so she tries to make sense of it.

that's awesome. i will have to check into her teaching. She sounds like she really takes the time to have people fully understand what the bible is saying and taking the time to make it understandable. thats great taht you watch that show.

Thanks for your reply! I forgot that this woman likes using the Greek translation as well. Right now she is speaking about Acts 19 (don't remember the verse). It has something about the goddess Artemis (Diana) in Euphretes or something like that. I'll give a little of the lesson below. The word for "assembly" in the Greek bible is later used for the word "church assembly" later on in the English bible. But the "assembly" in this book is for a general assembly, not a church assembly. The word "temple" in the Greek bible was later used for "church" in the English bible, but the "temple" was really supposed to read pagan temple. This lesson goes into deeper detail, but that's one small part of it lol. www.Dr.GeneScott.com is the website with streaming videos. I do not know if it comes on in your own area or not, but maybe the website will be an interest to you.
