Way to Improve Test Cricket

I have an idea to make Test Cricket more result oriented and interesting, since I feel there is no use of playing for the whole five days without having a result. After seeing this test match which is boring and sleepy, why not the ICC make a new rule of bringing in the new ball after 50 overs rather than taking it after 80 overs which, I think, will make the test matches more interesting and more result oriented. What do you think about it.
