Do you choose a best response?

Do you choose a best response? Why or why not? I noticed while I was going through my friends past discussions that some pick a best response and some do not. That's why I'm wondering.

Yes I do! I think by doing so, people will be more motivated to write better. I have picked some best responses in my discussions but I haven't done all of them yet. I would wait till when I have time, then I would pick all at once. I love picking the best responses because I know those who get them would feel rewarded.

Yes, I do pick best reponses. i wait for a while until no one new has responded to the discussion in a long time. Unless it's like a riddle...the first person to get the right answer gets best response. Or if I have a direct question that needs answering, whoever helps me first (the best) gets the best response. Sometimes I do fall behind on it, but eventually I will go through old discussions and pick best responses. I firgure if people take the time to respond, then they deserve to get rated for it.

There are still many unresolved discussions in my list. Sometimes it is quite difficult for me to make up my mind to mark which response as the best one. So I will keep them aside and wait until I have leisure to go through and decide later. Sometimes when I come across any response which is really attractive I then straight away mark it as the best response

Im not sure ??? I just know that I do, its some respect that people have taken the time to respond to your discussion and that you have actually read them.

Yes, I wonder what happens with the unresolved folder with the people that never choose. It must take a long time for their profiles to come up. Wouldn't it?

Hello! I always choose best response. But last two weeks I was quite busy, so didn't get time to read all responses and choose the best response, so I didn't choose best responses to my discussions. But am going to choose best responses today evening. I have also seen many people not choosing best responses to their discussions. I think some of them who are new don't know about it and others don't bother about choosing best response because many of them think they aren't going to get paid for it. vani^_^

I am a newer here so there are not many people to response my discussions .That makes me upset. But if I really like one response I will mark it to be the best response because I think that is a reward to my friend who share his opinion with me.

I try to choose best response. Sometimes, I wait for awhile before I do so because it just means that I'll choose the best response because sometimes, the replies I get really aren't the best type of response. So, I may not do it right away, but I do it eventually.

I often wait a few days until there are no more responses coming in. Once in awhile, I choose pretty quickly. Sometimes too quickly.

I always choose a best response... eventually. =P It does sometimes take me a long time, because it becomes a chore. It becomes something I put off until one day I finally just sit down and make myself go through my discussions and choose one. However, once in a while a response has such an effect on me that I choose it immediately. That hasn't been happening to me a lot lately, but once in a while it does.

well, yes, i do choose best response... when i read a response i observe if the response is sensible and has a big point. when i read the response of other users and if it sounds interesting, i mark them best response, people appreciate that if we also appreciate what they are writting and their opinion.

yes, i will choose a best response. why? because it is a reward to those friends who post responses to me. i have 2 rules for the best response. 1, it is must related to my discussion, sometimes i find that some members chat with each other under my discussions about other unrelated things, then i feel very angry. i feel they dont' respect me at all. 2, the response is written by his/ heart, then it really give me some help.

Yes, once in a while someone will respond with something that has nothing to do with anything. Not the topic, the subject, any of the questions, nothing. So I know what you mean. I also like something with the person's feelings behind it. Take care and thank you for responding.

I was so bad at that! I went back through my discussions and realized I'd forgotten to pick 'best response' for quite a few of them. I corrected that for most, but I still have responses coming in on several and I'm letting them simmer a bit! And then there's the problem of too many good answers... it can be so hard to choose!
