Do you do your manicure and pedicure at home?

Not inside the house, but in the passage, wherewe have open to sky (atrium) which also has good natural lighting. According to our Hindu custom, no one is allowed to manucure and pedicure after5 p.m. in the evening. Everyting of this kind should be done between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. One of the supersitutions my grand mother period that if cut-nails are thrown around home area, that day a robber will come home to stea; things in our hosue.!!!. Probably our ancestors have introduced this fear to ensure that no one cut the nials inside the house, because if it gets into food, it may be lethal to health.

I've been doing my own manicures and pedicures for years. Not only does it save money but I hate anyone touching my feet!

Yes i do my manicure and padicure at home. The only change that has come over the years is the frequency of doing them. I have reduced the frequency now as i have less time at my disposal since i have a spend a good time on my daughters educational activites. I do apply nailpolish on my nails as it gives a neat and tidy look to them. I now normally keep my feet in water with a mix of shampoo and hydrogen peroxide.

i love manicure and pedicure and I only do it at beauty salon. i don't have it frequently, probably once or twice in a month. When i need some TLC and pampering, it's manicure and pedicure for me. I don't do it myself, as i love the feeling of being attended to :)

Years ago I did my own nails because it was too expensive to go out to a salon, and also it took too much time. I still do my own nails, but now it is because I am concerned about exposure to chemicals and bacteria. I also feel a little like a zoo animal on display if I go to have my nails done in public.
