When you get finished with a cup do you wash it right away?

Most times when I use a cup, I'll rinse it out and set it on the edge of the counter to use later. Sometimes I'll even use dish detergent to make sure that it is extra clean. I do that in cases where I know my child might be using the cup later. Or, if it's cold and flu season, then I don't want anyone else picking up my germs. Do you fully wash every cup after each use or just rinse it out with water? What do other family members do with their used cups and glasses?

I always wash my glass after each use, and I place it the counter for use later. My kids usually just place theirs in the sink.

If I know I'm going to be using it later, I'll just sit it on the counter after giving it a quick wash out. If I know I won't be using it, I'll sit it in the sink and then wait to wash it, or toss it in the dishwasher to wash later. It all depends really. But I hardly ever just use a glass once before I wash it unless the dishes are being washed and I'm not going to be using it anytime soon, and then I go ahead and wash it.

I usually keep a glass of water on my desk or where ever I am. I don't ever actually empty it, I just keep refilling it through out the day. My husband or I will usually throw it in the dishwasher after we eat dinner that night. If I drink juice or something, I usually rinse the cup, but then just leave it in the sink until we load the dishwasher later in the evening. I do the same thing with my son's cups. Usually I put the dishes out of the sink into the dishwasher when I'm cooking dinner. I leave them in the sink for the rest of the day usually.

No, I usually have a glass of water sitting with me all day. I will put it in the dish washer and get a new one after supper.

I have my own personal cup that I keep on the back of the sink. Yes I wash it out after each use with soap and water then place it back on the sink. Now every one else in this house will grab a clean cup, use it and then set in the sink for it to magically get cleaned again and place back in the cabnet. :o)

Depends on what I drink. If I only drink water, then I would rinse it out each time I use it. If I drink some coffee, or juice or something with a bit of taste, I would use the detergent to clean the cups nicely. I don't like to accumulate the dirty cups or the dirty dishes, so I make sure I would clean everything after I have used them. My mother is like that too!

I use a cup on coffee and tea, a mug on milk or fruit juice and a glass for water or milk. I love using a clean glassware so I wash them right away after each use.
