i like to have my auctions end in the evenings, usually on sunday or monday nights. How about you? Or, when do you find yourself more often shopping on ebay. Does the the time the auciton ends factor into your decision about buying an item or not?

i also always found that sunday evenings was the best time to end auctions preferably around 8-9 pm that way people have had chance to watch their soaps on tv and have tea etc and then go onto the comuter for an hour so that was always our choice of time to end an auction.

I usually like my auctions to end on Sunday evening. I figure that way they get the Friday and the Saturday traffic which I would assume would be the heaviest as less people are working and have more time to surf the net. I don't have a specific day when I browse more. I just do searches whenever I think of something that I would like to buy. I'm usually on in the evenings though.

I don't sell on Ebay anymore but when I did the best time to have auctions end were Sunday evenings. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I donn't really think it matters, well it doesn't seem to for me, I even had things sell that I had a ccindentlly listed ending on Christmas Day !As for buying I often had to get up in the middle of the night if I was really keen on something, because of time difference overseas.

I never really thought about it until now - I usually just do a 3/5/7 day auction and when it ends - it ends. But now that I'm thinking - I only ship to USA but other ebayers ship all over so you're never really sure where your buyer is going to be located and at what time of day it is where your buyer's at. So I really don't think us sellers actually control it - the buyers do. Even though I only ship to USA - it may be Sunday evening my time but Sunday morning or afternoon in another state. Just my opinion.

I think evening is best, but I have not been selling on ebay long enough to know what days. I made the mistake of having 8 auctions ending on a Saturday morning once. I got am email from someone wanting to know what combined shipping on 6 of them would be, but I got the email 20 minutes AFTER the auction ended, so I did not sell any of them. I will never have and auction end on Saturday morning again.

LOL. when I first started on ebay, I would sometimes have auctions end on fri or sat nights. I would end up putting random things up on a fri or sat night if I ended up not doing anything that night. Needless to say, they didn't do as well as my other auctions.

I have that Thursday and Sunday evenings are the best. Between 6 and 9pm.

Sunday evening is the time that I've seen recommended in several places, so that's usually what I aim for. However, I've seen that auctions will end all over the place. I prefer to find the ones that have "Buy It Now," because then I can end the auction when I feel like it--which is usually how and when I do most of my eBay shopping. :)

I tend to go for evening. That way people are generally home from work and can watch/snipe if they want. I shop at random times during the day to be honest.

I like having it done on a Sunday evening, because usually I'm not doing anything around then and it's the beginning, or maybe end to some people's week.
