Addicted to earning sites

I was already spending way too much time on the Internet between making my living by investments which I follow on the Internet and doing just plain old surfing. Now I have gotten into mylot and, mainly, a couple of other earning sites and spend a lot of time on mylot and on uploading to a couple of picture and video share sites that pay you to use them. I'm also a member of a couple of other sites but don't spend a lot of time with them. I fear it has really become an addiction since I'm not reading anymore and even watching less TV, which may change when the new season starts. Is this a problem for you?

This is a problem for me because I, too, spend to much time on the computer. Pogo is my biggest downfall. I am new to Mylot. Is the potential here to earn some sort of income?

You can make some money if you post a lot of good discussions and responses but it certainly is not what I would consider worth the time if you are only doing it for the money.

In my opinion, if you spending considerable time on the Internet with some sort of objectives such as earning side income, getting to know people, learn new things etc then it wouldn't be considered a problem. I know lots of people who put on hours on the Internet earning money: maintains e-commerce site, building blogs that generate income etc. But if the long hours involves wandering along and just chatting away, I think that can be considered as a problem

Well my results so far indicate that it is not a very good way to earn money. Of course I don't have a blog or websit so doing one of those might make a difference.

Well...........................I also am not watching as much TV and have to make myself get off of here and relax.ie: watch TV, read. go for a walk with the dog, lay by the pool etc.............. it does become addictive. I too am waiting for the new season on Tv especially house.

Your post got me thinking, maybe I should quit mylot, even though it's the first day I joined.

i try to balance my life and not get too addicted to the internet... it is not good for my eyes and body if i sit too long in front of the internet... i know the temptation is there... :-)

I do tend to spend all my time on the computer. I should be doing things around the house. I have to practically peel myself away. I have been setting a timer, so I remember to do different things and limit my time.

I was spending a lot of times on Mylot, surfing etc. After awhile, I started thinking of the time I was spending and started limiting my time to 2 hours max. I started reading magazines again, and doing other craft stuff.

Well, i dont call it addiction but a past time.Id rather post a few posts here on mylot while wtaching tv, coz i could justify the act for I do both things I am able to maximize my time and effort and also meet new friends. Its useful rather than just plain surfing.

I just spend an hour or two in the web. From the day I discovered mylot, I lost interest in other sites. I also lost interest in looking for online moneymaking sites. I realized that being here in mylot is not a waste of time. I don't care anymore how much I earn for as long as I love interacting with other people here. I also learn so many things .
