whta would you feel when ur partner said this?

If I thought we were best friends, I would feel betrayed.But I am a little old fashioned when it comes to marriage ,so I wouldn't expect my husband to be a best friend. A friend maybe but not a best friend.

I wouldn't be upset.He can't go to you when you two get into a fight.But you are the one he will come to with his big problems.I wouldn't stress it too much though.

if i think of my husband as my bestfriend then i'd feel betrayed too. im sure even if your husband doesnt think of you as his bestfriend, he thinks of you differently in a very special way like his most loving, beautiful wife who he cant ever replaced forever. ^__^ sometimes its just a matter of perspectives. you could ask him what he thinks of you if he doesnt think of you as his bestfriend. maybe you'll receive a very thoughtful and sweet response.

if ever that im gonna be in your situation..i will feel sad and i'll be frank with him with my feelings, since his my husband im not gonna hid my feelings about it.. sure that he'll feel guilty, and he will do anything just to make up with you..

My husband have many female "best" friends whom he met during his college days and even before we met. I have no problem with that even if he will call them his best friends because I know the category of being bestfriend is different from how he loves me. Don't be sorry for yourself because you are the love of his life.
