This type of police aggressiveness is exactly why, the next time I am pulled over for a traffic violation, if the police officer gets mouthy with me, I will stay in my car, lock it, and call 911. I will tell the 911 operator that I'm not intentionally resisting the officer, but I feel very threatened, and I want another law enforcement officer there NOW. The police are out of control.

I thnk the police were over zealous. I dont think it was necessary to tazer the guy. Was this guy a threat to do physical harm to Kerry? No. He wanted to ask a question. What happened to freedom of speach?

I saw a clip of it on youtube last night/this morning - stayed up late trying to read the responces. Can't believe how so many people/(and this is other Americans) can post that he deserved it or "got what was coming" or that he should've been shot/beaten/killed by the police and see nothing wrong about what happened and the fect that most of the audience just sat their and let it happen. Why didn't John Kerry try to do something to stop it? Lifez2short - There's another case you might not have heard of, of a woman being tazored because she was drunk and refusing to be arrested http://edition.cnn.com/2007/US/09/21/ohio.taser/index.html
