You all should see Petie, he is mad at me

Petie my little dog has a barking problem; he drives me crazy with his barking. I call him Sir Barks A Lot. Every evening he starts his barking at anything and everything. When he gets to loud with his barking I put him in his crate or a little basket in the computer room I am in.
Tonight he was barking at the neighbors and their cat. I could not stand it so I picked him and brought him in here with me and put him in his basket. He is so mad at me he will not look at me; he keeps looking at the wall every time I look at him. He is so funny; he is like a child pouting. Then he made me laugh so hard, he got out of his basket and I told him to get back in he will not. Guess what he is doing? He is so funny he is curled up in a small space between a desk and the basket facing the wall again. He will not look at me again just like a spoiled child. His Royal doggy is mad at mom and punishing me for putting him in his basket. I wish I had my camera with me so I can show you but the minute I get up he will be gone out of his corner. LOL I think he is acting so funny I just had to tell you all.

To tell you the truth I am not sure I would have another do again. I think I will always have a cat, but Petie is driving me crazy with his mouth. I looked in to having him debarked. The vet says they do not do that any more because they where having pitbulls and mean dogs debarked so cops did not know they where around. When cops would go into the place to arrest the fellen, they would get bitten.

He's so cute! How funny, he's throwing his little tantrum, lol. My cat does the same thing, she'll wait for me to look at her and then look at me really dirty and turn away and if I talk to her she'll look the other way. Animals are really just furry children.

Yes they are. I swear my husband worries more about my one cat, Sammie ( my Avatar) then he ever did the kids. LOL

Well I guess that Peti and Gissi have been talking on the Computer again at some stage as Gissi does this or he will turn his back on me lol and no matter how much I call him he will ignore me
So time for you and me to change Passwords again I guess lol

I agree with you gabs, Petie sure has an attitue at times. Now that I punished him he has actually came and sat on my lap. Just alike a kid that needs to be punished to know he is loved. LOL He is now in his basket sleeping. I am not punishing him he crawled in there by himself. He is so cute now. The basket is white lined and he is white you can hardly see him but his ears.

Pets are so funny--yes they do get pouty and huffy when they feel they're not getting attention or if you reprimand them. And that's so funny that Petie looks at the wall, ignoring you the moment you want to look at him

He is funny he does not want mom looking at him because he knows he is in trouble. I think he is a silly boy.

I hate a dog that Barks, and I hate a neighbor's barking dog even more. If I had a dog that barked and bothered me or the neighbors, I'd shoot the little bast*rd.
Teach you dog to be quiet, and have good neighbors. Let him bark and the neighbors will Hate you and Your Dog. Dogs are like kids! They can be wonderful to be around, or if they are spoiled rotten, they can Be Hateful!

You can have him then and teach him not to bark. I have done everything I have been taught. I try to keep the barking down. That is why I brought him in to the room with me. He will start barking and I stop him imediatily.

Oh this is the cutest doggie story I've heard about in a long time. Petie is quite a character isn't he? That is so cute that he is mad at you. Goes to show you that he knows the barking is something he is not supposed to do. Dogs are like kids sometimes. I have my daughter's poodle and she is like having a little toddler around. I just love her sooo much, she is quite the life of the party. Never a dull moment, my hubby is as attatched as I am to her. They do behave like spoiled kids sometimes. Thanks for sharing your story with us, it has really made my day :)
