reflexology!

Hi there. I have had reflexology done and it felt really great, I dont think its a matter of believing, this is a form of massage for the hands and feet, there are pressure points in the feet that represent the organs in the body... I have never had reflexology done for me, I do not know anyone who has. I do not doubt that there may be some connections that are stimulated by it, and that people might feel better, probably will feel better. I will check back to see what other people on here say. I believe I would have to feel better all over if someone gave my feet some wonderful massage.

What is reflexology?

I do believe in reflexology. Unfortunately I have not gone to any reflexologist because I can't afford. I'm just contented with doing it myself and I feel much better and relaxed.

i just bought my mother a foot reflexology machine... i believe in reflexology too, but i dont have the luxury of going to a spa or hire someone to reflex me,, just do it on my own on my feet and hand...

I love to go for a session of reflexology although I do not use it to help with any medical condition. I find it helps me to relax and makes me feel really well. You are lucky here in the UK it is expensive for an hour of treatment around £20/$40

yeah, i need it because my body ache for it and all of my back are painful, i need someone to do it for me,, i never had the experience from the reflexology but i really need... ahhhhh... i need it.

Many people do not believe in reflexology, but I think that it is a legitimate method of treating some bodily pains and aches. It is much writen about in ancient medical texts especially those orginating from Asia and many people have reported feeling much refreshed after a reflexology session.

Hi salam, Reflexology is a pretty new thing in India. We do not have more trained reflexlogists here but I feel it's a great healer in its own right. I remember having some wrist pains and neck pains and my sister used to put pin pressurise on the joints . it worked wonders!! She did it without any specialisation, just out of knowledge (which is not good i agree). Later on I find this technique is creating waves in the west and now in east as well. Salam, i certainly need some good sessions of reflexology given the amount of pains I am having currently. Lol..

USD6? As in $6 us dollars? Wow that sounds very inexpensive. My area a reflexology treatment is likely to run more like $20-$50. I'm a student midwife and I plan on taking an intro to reflexology as a supplementary course for my midwifery practice. It seems a non-invasive & gentle way to promote health & well-being. I've already read quite a few books on the subject & started practicing on myself & my partner, but I don't feel confident enough with it to offer it to others.
