As a restourant worker years gone by,one evening, as we prepared the restaurant for closing there was a nice size rat running amuck. He ran on top of the ice cream machine. While he was being pursued, he fell into the mix that was draining from the machine. The rat drowned in the melted ice cream mix. The store Manager would not let the employees throw the mix away and forbid them to tell anyone that the rat had perished in it. He was more worried about the financial loss of the ice cream mix than the health and safety of employees or customers. The ice cream was served the next day just as if nothing had happened. Do you sometimes fear restourant foods?

When one is young, one can digest even the stone, so goes the adage. Though it is not true, literally speaking, but it is true in the sense one can eat any sort of food anywhere. but after some age say 50 years, one should be careful about what food one eats, how it is prepared etc. I was always fond of restaurant food, but now I hate it, because there is dreaded disease called amiobiosis which is likely to be the result of restaurant food (contagious). I totally avoid the restaurant food except when it unavoidable.

Most restaurant owners are greedy, they do not provide adequate health facilities to their staff and as a result, food in most restaurants are prepared in unhealthy conditions. The norms set by the health department is not fully implemented and as a result, there is no way to check whether the food is properly prepared under healthy atmosphere. Secondly, the price we pay for food is far far higher than what it costs. It is those people who do not have families, when they go for work outside their native who suffer a lot. Also of late, the housewives are keen on eating out, just because their friends and relatives are having family outing in restaurants!! Another bad mass influence. There are some restaurnats which are known as clean and healthy preparation of foods. By and large, it is better to avoid restaurant food as far as possible.

I admit yes, sometimes I hesitated eating in a restaurant basically for food safety reasons. I have no idea how they prepared the food in their kitchen, so much as I never know how sanitized is their working area. Still, if the food is digestible and accepted by my tummy, I eat it hahaha...

Yucky!!! Yeah, I sometimes think about the worst in restaurants. In college, there was this one group who went and ate in a fine-dining restaurant, they were rushed to the hospital due to food poisoning there. Fortunately, everyone recovered. But its sad that such can happen even in an expensive restaurants
